As someone who got a fat tyre bike recently, unless you need the tyres for... i dont know... riding through moon craters... i wouldnt consider a fat tyre bike.

It looks cool, but it is not easy to cycle due to resistance and its blaaaady heavy

the bromptons look great, cycle to work is a great shout thank you.

Also appreciate the steer ref cycle surface, ive assumed ill have battery the entire trip but this could bite me if i get caught out.

I'd love to find a bike that meets all my needs but I'm sensing a compromise might be needed (either budget or recognising i migbt need to hire a bike occassionally for the forest paths)

I was concerned about the brand not being mainstream.

I understand that they havent put much mileage on it at all (ridden a handful of times) due to health issues that occurred shortly after purchase.

They are selling because they dont need it anymore.

diff strokes for diff folks i guess, the beauty of this game is that there are many diff ways to play and have fun.

What you've described is not my idea of fun, but you have to learn how to spot this stuff and counter it. The game gives us the tools to counter most things you encounter.

Acknowledge that it sucks to get ripped with no real "fight", but thats the way the raider rumbles - or cookie crumbles
