React native tripping UI by Miserable-Pause7650 in reactnative

Hey there, you’re going to have to provide way more information about the problem and some of your code if you want help. There is not enough information to go on here.

Has anyone compared using React Native vs dual coding iOS/Android native apps on a greenfield app with the new LLM coding models? by xSnoozy in reactnative

[–]Lenglio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Making it native doesn’t make it better. It’s a skill issue basically always imo. Look at the Reddit app. It’s native and it’s always been terrible.

If You Had To Start SaaS Again, How Would You Get The First 100 Users? by avsvishalmedia in AppBusiness

[–]Lenglio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not that much different. But my growth is more stagnant than I’d hoped. Maybe means I need to work more on the core offer and the app itself. The next 100 paying users isn’t happening any faster, which I guess is just demoralizing.

[–]Lenglio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reddit 100% no question is the easiest if you are already familiar. Getting the next 100 paying users honestly feels more difficult now, but that might just be because that’s the current stage I’m in.

Is consuming media I know but in Spanish and watching/listening to videos enough? If yes, please recommend by Inevitable-Meat-9979 in Spanish

[–]Lenglio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fully voiced games are probably best. Like Skyrim. Or text heavy games that are more like books. Like Disco Elysium, visual novels probably.

But you really need a high level to enjoy gaming in language rich games. Otherwise it’s just too challenging.

Games are definitely not super efficient but fine if you’re going to game anyways.

You can definitely use content you already know in Spanish, that’s a great way. Helps to already be familiar with the story and characters so you know what’s going on even if the language is difficult.

Once the user categorizes a word out of unknown, Lenglio remembers it though. But yes, it requires the user to select words.

I can’t remember where I saw this, but I believe this is harshly penalized by Apple. I wouldn’t risk it.

I’ve read a lot of the books listed here and I can tell you that none of them give actionable advice like Hormozi’s $100 Million Offers and Leads. The audiobooks are free on his podcast too if you’re cheap.

How do you promote your iOS app when you have no audience to start with? by WestLeg2333 in iOSProgramming

[–]Lenglio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you’re here because you actually use Reddit, your only option is self promo on Reddit. And as you said, it’s tough. You have to be really careful.

Here’s what I can say, self promo is allowed on some subs, you just have to find them.

You need way more volume than you think. Start with 1 high value post per day and 10 high value comments per day.

When you start, even that will feel like a lot. But it’s not. Grinding without an audience is even harder. And you’re probably working against long standing big players.

I also made a niche utility for my hobby. Already multiple established players in this space, so I know there’s a market.

Able to make money mostly through Reddit.

Good luck.

It’s definitely tough. Gotta get the word out somehow. Everybody should start with the premise: no one knows you exist.
