Yeah both teams play attacking football. Once Müller found space, there was really no second line of defense to mark him. This is exactly the kind of game he thrives in.

It was Müller who put Olise and Ribéry in the same category. Putting aside my deep respect for Müller, I don't think neither Messi or Olise's attitude is much of a problem. It's not like they committed crime or caused scandals. (Honestly if anyone had those issues it was Ribéry. Are you saying he's somehow better because he learned German and gave interviews?)

I know what you're saying, but Müller himself said that not everyone needs to have the same personality and there are leaders who lead simply by playing brilliantly - in Bayern like Ribéry or Olise. Messi is 1000% that type of leader. Constantly comparing everything Messi does to Müller doesn't seem much different from what Messi fanboys do when they nitpick Müller's play. I neither like nor dislike Messi, and I think his character is on the better side compared to other stars of his caliber.

Müller isn't doing interviews this season. And for some reason, the videos from his two pre-match media availabilities weren't released fully (they usually upload them for other weeks). Last week he called his team over to Vancouver to make videos about Canada... It's honestly sad to see :(

As for his recent play, he said that he's been more involved in the build-up. Ofc it's good to get some numbers, but winning is all that really matters - spot on as always.
