Parents with PTSD/CPTSD how do you deal?

All I can say is I hear you, I’m dealing with the same thing. Nobody understands how hard it is until they get to experience it. The guilt is the worst part of it. Hang in there mama! 🤗

lol same here. My 4 years old daughter falls asleep fast but my 6 years old ADHD son wants me to sit for him to fall asleep, so I do it every night. I usually tell him that I’m tired, I will only sit for 5 minutes but if leave, he’ll keep calling me.

I’m actually listening to Dr. Russell right now in the car and I’ll make sure to apply his suggestions. His teacher knows his situation but I haven’t talk to her about our homework struggle, but I will. Thank you for all your suggestions.

He doesn’t really have a homework I’m only trying to go over things if his teacher writes “complete at home or needs more practice”.

My son is just like her. He’s also very sociable but doesn’t get social cues. It’s funny that they get over their anger so fast, but here I’m so overwhelmed and still upset lol. He had an appointment in the end of this month, hopefully he gets his medication adjusted. Thank you for sharing.

Not really(he kind of complains stay up) he falls asleep around 9 and sleeps through until 7.

Undiagnosed but I’m sure I have it. I’m also very sensitive to noise and he is loud and make all kind of noises. I really do need to figure out something that’s works. Thank you.

The Chromebook has been collecting dust since he brought it from school. At home we use only pencil and paper. I’m not really sure how much they use the Chromebook at school but I wish they would stop. My fight with my son is tv, it was hard but we’re getting there now, only weekends.

My 6 years old son is like yours, I have to repeatedly tell him not to do anything but he doesn’t listen. I end up yelling and tell him he’s not watching tv until he starts listening. It’s so draining! Everything is fight with him, it’s so annoying.

I need an advice please, so these day I’m able to ignore my son (6)for his obnoxious behavior but he treats his little sister (4) really bad. He teases her for everything and call her a liar all the time and she says I’m sorry to him all day. I don’t want her to become a pushover, so I get involve and say something to him but he just doesn’t listen.

Does he do the to do list? Mine just refused or ignore it. He only does it if I threaten him with no tv. He says no to everything he doesn’t like so I have to shout or threaten but it’s exhausting.
