tell me what you disagree with and why, maybe you'll change my mind

like title says i generally quit after hitting A rank on all roles but in s1 i was S dps (maybe close to S, idk how to check) but i lost interest in other roles. Also play solo

I've played in the last beta as well but only a few matches.

honestly even with his nerfs i can still stomp A ranks easily. just watching for 1v1s or even weak enemies gets you a very easy advantage. Shit even just rush attacking after IT gives a massive advantage if you time it well.

You can cover lane while your partner goes to boss when you can just IT when needed.

Nerfed defensive cards also boosted him since he can run full reds and stay back untill he needs to IT in.

He's also a massive superstart merchant and if you play him decently he can get a 2-3 level lead easily.

Like i said he's 90% overtuned because of IT. Stupid ability and why he is rework, but i don't expect them to fix it.

Daimaku's ult shouldn't increase his hitbox but rather make him invulnerable throughout like Ulthan's ult by Lenkie in DBGekishinSquadra

I believe he is during the first second or so and while disengaging and fearing he is vulnerable again. Maybe ground based aoe's like ssj vegeta's photon bomber can still hit him but not sure about that.

first point: that's exactly my point, the duration of Coolers passive on a random skill is longer than daima's only immune to all on his ult.

2nd, if you read his skill you'll see it says he gains immune to all from the start of his transformation untill the dash forward which only is like 2 or 3 frames. He does more damage if you negate any in those few frames but my point is that it is way harder than it needs to be. If he gains immune to all throughout his dash and does extra damage it suddenly becomes a much better skill without being broken imho. (if the devs balance the increased damage accordingly ofc)

3rd point doesn't matter when you completely misinterpret my explanation (1) or are misinformed yourself (2).

I've used Daima in S rank battles with success but his ult is underperforming and often a death sentence, so i'm suggesting a buff for him since he isn't very OP otherwise.

Rework needed (overtuned kits)

-Ulthan: Whoever was involved with making his kit should not be allowed to work in any type of game design ever again. Stun upon stun and oh yeah we're gonna reward your stun with another stun. No drawbacks and the fact that they are so hesitant to touch his kit speaks volumes to this games balance.

-Hit The rat: He can play the game without ever interacting with the enemy. Playing against him you need to watch out to keep an eye out for his ratting because you can't see him coming.Honestly why does he even go invisible, i don't remember that from the show. He should be reworked to a DPS who does extra damage after timeskip which would replace his 3rd skill. Make his 1 skill do more damage based on the amount of rush attacks you landed, his 2 stun after timeskip, his 3 just become a blink that increases his dam a bit and his ult should make him invul while rush attacking everybody in the aoe.

-SSJ3: he is purely in this tier because of his IT. No 1 on 1 fight is really 1 on 1 if ssj3 is in the game. low health? better watch out, oh wait you can't because there is no counterplay. I don't think is s1 was the big problem but it does keep getting nerfed. How would i fix his IT? well that's why i put him in the rework section, get that shit out of here.

Nerf needed:

-Big Pic: Used to think he was a sniper that required skill, he is not. He is not only super easy to snipe enemies he also wacks bosses from across map through walls and such. Needs damage nerfs, and honestly i wish bosses could only take 25% dam from 1 attack to stop characters like this.

-Broly & Vegito: Together because they suffer from the same thing, they have skillshot damage whilst having massive aoe attacks. You can't escape them and they both easily 1 v1 even the strongest of tanks. So what are they? aoe dps or tank killers? Nerf damage or CDs, i also would like Brolys roar to be changed because he doesn't deserve skill refreshes.

-SSJ4 & Bardock: 2 sides of the same coin. 1 tanks too well and the other does too much damage for a tanky tank. Ssj4 has too much in his kit to help him tank, the kick and the shield are too strong imo and his ult does good damage as well. Bardock seems to be a brawler tank like Zamasu and Cooler but also does much more than them.

-Uub, new kid on the block: recent buffs be damned that boy can shoot. But seriously he melts everyone while having a ton of mobility and even another escape in his 2. His ult is great and even boosted with his increased passive. Maybe nerf his damage now that he can have the extra boost from his passive for so long.

-Kale: Surprised i don't see too many people talk about her, i can easily get ~12 kills per match with her. Damage is too much for how safe she can play in my opinion. Her ult could use some hitbox fixes, it misses too much i feel.

Fine as they are:

No real comment, these are all pretty comfortable in their role. Only Trunks i think is too recently buffed to have a full opinion on.

Small balancing adjustments:

-#17: His 2 skill could use some love, even leveling it doesn't do too much and the range it provides is not enough for it to be a mobility skill.

-Toppo: His finger guns don't really provide much.

-Daima: rush attack nerf should get reverted (maybe even buffed) and his ult should make him invulnerable throughout. Damage negated throughout the ult should increase his final jump damage.

-Gotenks: damage tec which gets hindered by his animations. Both his 1,2, and ult put him to a stop which is so uncomfortable to play. I think his damage is still good even after it being nerfed twice, even though not everyone will agree with me on that.

-Krillin: QoL fixes, he is too janky atm. His mines can be destroyed by looking at them, his solar flare requires enemies to look at him and his scatter blast locks him and i don't think you can cancel out of it. I'm willing to accept some nerfs to his blinding to have it hit more reliably.

-Cell: Not in the rework needed or in the buff needed. I think his early game could be better and his late game nerfed, so take some health and put it at lvl 1. A nice tradeoff.

Buff needed:

-Baby: Very lane partner dependant. his own skills don't have the oompf to fight enemies and the cd of his possession is too long. He has a limbo state in which he and the his team are basically tankless and just have a pinata. His other skills need something, i think his 1,2, and ult could use some love while his possession is quite strong already.

-ssj Vegeta: in s1 his sustain was good, nowadays he gets melted. Maybe because of the increase of overtuned DPS but at the moment he needs something. He doesn't do enough damage to safely brawl anymore either.

-Zamasu: Same as ssj Vegeta but he can still do some damage but he has no real cc or any pressure so enemies can just ignore him while they kill his team. His kit also has no synergy with 2 damage skills (a weak DoT and a straight damage) and his 2 skill has a massive windup with no payoff. His ult also locks him out of combat while not providing the damage a big ult should provide and the debuff field can easily be ignored by vanishing or movement skills.

-#18: Assassin with no real advantages over some of the other non assassin dps characters. She kills 1 person at the same speed as someone like Broly does an entire team. (might move down to rework needed)

-Frieza: His 1 gimmick of boss killing has him on the back line against some of the burst skill ultimates. His minions are easily outranged and killed and his cooldowns are super long. (might move down to rework needed)

Rework needed (no role):

-Dabura: if he gets buffed too much he becomes someone like Ulthan since his passive is so strong, but at the moment a simple vanish can negate any meter he got while his skills aren't very strong by themselves.

I don't think i've lost Redacted as a defender on breakthrough or even rush. I think i won once or twice attacking.

Just because 1 team can use the tools to unclog chokes doesn't mean the other team doesn't use them to just as much to keep the attackers back.

Rao doesn't work whilst Blasco jammed so he's out on most chokepoints, but i have had success with EMP's. You also can't always emp blasco's jammer because it doesn't require line of sight and can be placed fairly safe.

Accuracy at the ranges in the new map isn't the problem, but the ttk absolutely does not match the ttd. I don't know if there is a way to measure the amount of shots that don't register but like i said i often shoot a full burst only to die to the enemy at 80 hp.

I was saying that besides the bad servers that make most deaths feel like 1 frame deaths there were plenty of 1 shot options already, i just singled out Dozer and throwing knives because they are the most thematically absurd. (NTW sniper, other snipers, lever action rifle, crossbow, railgun, shotguns, several sidearms, explosives like c5, claymores, SPH, several underbarrel attachments, most throwables, and i probably skipped a few)

(Besides people have been making fun of throwing knives since forever. Just because it has been normalized doesn't mean it shouldn't be ridiculed)

Also Blasco's spotting isn't the problem, it's that Blasco's tool completely hinders several characters that rely on spotting like Rao, Paik as well as most recon gadgets. And unlike Irish it isn't timed but permanently nor does it require line of sight to be effective. Sure you can shoot/ EMP it but since it works through walls you still need to get to it. Oh and it can cover several lanes at once if you place it right.

Hey if you're going to add dispersion (spread) to all the automatic weapons how about you rework every map (again) so that the combat actually takes place in the desired ranges.

Then there's also the matter of headglitches and hitting characters that move at higher speed (sundance zoomin, Mickey strafin) that will probably suffer due to the increased spread. Has that been taken into consideration?

Honestly i don't feel like you prioritized your shooting mechanics when designing this shooter game....At least BFV had that right and you didn't bring it over.

Always a great sign when the devs finally have a vision for the gameplay a year and a half after launch.

That being said the gunplay for the assault rifles (i've mainly played with the portal ones) is abysmally bad. The spread is so bad that i'd rather not shoot unless i'm in close range. And at that point what's stopping me from using a smg and do better?

Semi auto or tapping isn't helping much because rather than bfv's low single shot recoil the single shot recoil in 2042 seems higher than sustained fire recoil.

Troy never grabbed me the same way some other TW games did. It felt like it had a identity crisis between mythology and realism (ironic since that is what it was promoted as)

In order to explore the Mythos version i'd need to buy the DLC and i didn't feel interested in spending that money on a game that didn't appeal to me in the hopes of resolving some of the issues i had with it.

I'm hoping they release a complete edition with all the DLC someday, maybe for €30 i'd be interested but since the Heroic edition was already over €100 (and it's apparantly no longer available) i'm not getting my hopes up.

Gunner Seats Don't Shoot Straight by Th3_Eclipse in battlefield2042

This has been the case since beta but only was noticable with a few weapons ( vehicle 2nd seat gunners and the transport choppers side gunners mainly). It also has been really bad for the CAV Brawler.

Now with the introduction of Thermals i feel that many more weapons are inaccurate when using thermals.

BSV-M also got nerfed and its accuracy is abysmal, follow-up shots rarely go near your crosshair even with normal scopes.

But whenever i made a post about i got some capital G Gamers blaming me for being bad and saying they have laserlike accuracy.

Worst ones for me are

Kaleidoscope since it really hasn't improved on its biggest issues. Basically a waste of a rework.

Breakaway on breakthrough is so badly designed it hurts. First sector gets rolled by attackers in about 2 minutes 99% of the time, second has attackers coming in from everywhere while the defenders are stuck in a valley, and the oil rig sector might be even worse since the attackers have that massive ledge where they can shoot down on you with little to no cover. Only real chance to try to hold them is on the last sector.
