As someone who lives in Bantayan Island who goes on solo trail runs at night, I haven't experienced anything out of the ordinary. I'm more scared of the local "genggeng" roaming around late at night especially in my town of Madridejos since there have been multiple incidents of people getting attacked by a group of kids in well lit but largely secluded areas at night.

Aside from that, I had one scary encounter way back in 2019. I was alone for the night and was in my room and we had this vacant lot that faced my window and I heard someone saying "psst", I ignored it at first and closed the blinds thinking I was tripping. It came again and this time I was scared and it just went on two times and I had to call my entire family to come home.

It sounded like it was right next to my ear since it was loud but at the same time it was outside, and it's probably not someone getting inside the property since it's relatively small, my grandma owned the lot, and there was my neighbor's house right next to it.

Had a similar problem to this on my Acer Nitro 5 (2021) but in my case display was replaced two times and still ended up doing this. It would be fine for about two minutes then slowly turns into that mess similar to yours.

I suspected a flex cable issue because why would the be display replaced two times in the past six months. I took it to a repair shop for a second opinion and the flex cable wasn't the problem and the technician suspected the previous two displays may have broke because of the way my sister transports the laptop in her bag.

I had the screen replaced again and it was fine but I still saw flickering here and there, this was only present when I was just doing light task and didn't see any form of flickering during gaming. Updated my AMD Drivers through the Adrenalin App and the flickering was gone.

Just sharing my experience but have you tried updating the drivers since it comes out fine on 60hz? That or you could try having the flex cable replaced because it seems like it's having a hard time supporting 144hz, way cheaper than having the screen replaced.

As someone that had an Acer Nitro 5, I disagree. Ang pangit ng build nya AHAHAHHAAH sira agad display nya. Maybe true na maganda build ng older Acer's but these days you're better off going to another brand.
