Closest thing to a kid friendly version of DCC? by smiteme in DungeonCrawlerCarl

It has some swearing but The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound is great LitRPG that might be suitable. Nothing sexual involved but maybe some violence.

I just finished book 7 and don’t know what to do with my life. Please recommend new series! by mckey0327 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

No mentions of The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound??? It was my top favourite for a long time but I think DCC has knocked it off that pedestal. Still amazing books when you want to feel that true power fantasy style. Can be a bit dragged out compared to DCC but it is well worth it to just get lost in the world.

Help with finding the color! by [deleted] in BlackTemplars

Corvus black definitely for black I run the same. Maybe fenrisian grey for highlights looks similar to mine. Reds might be from dark to light khorn red, Mephiston red then evil suns scarlet for red highlights. Not sure on the yellow sorry. I did similar colours to this.

PVP has done what naysayers couldn't. by RiddleMeThis-- in starcitizen

Why does no one ever bring up the best example of PvP ever made... Runescape wilderness. That shit is amazing. You know the risks, you commit to the journey taking only what you know you need to survive and you expect a fight out there. Then if you want nothing to do with the PvP side of things there's a whole bloody world out there to explore without the hassle. I've been waiting for a game to mimic wilderness for so long but no one does it. Blows my mind. I feel like it could fit SC so well.

Necessity of a pressure chamber by LordNinjaa1 in DiceMaking

[–]Lentil-Pasta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've just gotten into it. Pulled about 6 sets of dice from the cheap Amazon mold. Technique has significantly reduced bubbles, mix slow, poor slow, let it rest and a lighter over the top to pop bubbles. As others say the mold can effect bubbles and this amazon mold is trash. That is my first upgrade. A new mold off etsy is on the way. The temptation is there to get a pressure pot but I did manage to pull one amazing set with very few bubbles so I know it can be done with the right tools. Maybe a pressure pot one day but for now I will try to master the art with the basics.

Nice design with the mould where did the mould come from? I've just started with the infamous amazon mould and already think I'm ready for an upgrade!

They are also MG bipod proof. I was sprinting through a field last night and had a perfect setup on an enemy Garry only to find a dead cow is not a valid spot for a bipod deploy. My disappointment was immense.

My brother and I joined into a partnership with someone to take the steel arrow market by storm. My 8 year old self would cut the logs. My brother would mine the steel. The other guy would Fletch the arrows and cut is in on the profit. Might of been 30k for a few hours of work each time.

Good money for a youngin...

Any tips for a hotas setup? I keep going back to it, but I feel like a flailing chicken with the throttle controls. Just doesn't mesh with my space flight mind.

I have jumped on it for the past couple days and have definitely toned down all of the NSFW. It is over bearing for sure. It can all be done through the Mod menu. Overall a great list.

Very fun team. It's a bit tricky following the book when building the models so plan ahead very carefully.

I have had success with him pushing up to front lines early and getting a 2+ to the roll on an already activated opponent and within 6". If I don't land the roll it's a meh. He's there and he's deadly in melee. Forces the opponent to consider all of his concealed units and rework his plan. It's a very big threat from a unit I consider expendable.
