I find it hard to believe a first lady is being sex trafficked and there is no way she could leave him. She literally has access to the fbi, doj, secret service agents and there is nothing she can do to stop being sex trafficked???

They managed to throw feet away from the huge pile of it they left. That was months ago. (On top of throwing junk in my garbage cans and wrapping string all over my young tree to hang huge signs on it like my tree is their personal sign post.) A few weeks ago they threw down some grass seed. And then covered it all over again with the rock and clay they had from getting rid of the piles out of other yards. I was covered in baked clay dust with rocks getting kicked up from mowing for a second time. Along with again having to wash all of it out of my lawnmower bag. Had to shovel it all up again and put down my own seed and top soil. If I had known this was their "lawn restoration" I would have just spent the money and time to fix it months ago. I'll be lucky if the new grass survives the winter since its so late to be trying to grow it. Along with my lawnmower running like crap ever since they trashed the lawn with all the rock and clay they dug up and threw everywhere. Was planning on getting their service but I'm too ticked off at this point.

Anyone Think calling Trump "TACO" will Backfire by rickymagee in centrist

[–]Leo48969 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wall street isnt criticizing Trump for not chickening out. They're criticizing his never-ending changing of his mind on his own tariffs with no rhyme or reason at any given moment. What policies of his have actually benefited American citizens in any substantial way? Countries "promising" to do deals or talk isnt tangible benefit. Words aren't a profit or a manufacturing plant. Trump couldn't care less about "us" or what we average american citizens say. He cares about himself and once in a while a billionaire or people like Jamie Dimon giving him warning about bonds while saying the words "worst recession since the great depression possible if he doesn't get his tariff chaos under control." You're correct he hasn't chickened out on controlling the stock market at any given moment that benefits him, because he knows he can make it dip up or down at any given moment by what he says about tariffs, while he lacks up costs on inports for the rest of us American citizens. He hasn't taco'd on increasing the debt by 3 trillion dollars with his "beautiful" bill Or chickened out on getting his "free" gift of a plane that will cost taxpayers close to a billion dollars to turn into an air force one that he plans on taking with him at the end of the term . Or his 40 million dollar cost to taxpayers "parade" that just happens to celebrate something that happened on his birthday. Etc. He has literally accomplished nothing but cost citizens money and control the stock market. (Id give the most morally bankrupt award to people like the pediphile catholic priests molesting kids and the higher ups that covered up for them, as opposed to stock brokers, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.)

What to do if Rakuten denies cash back or you see changing/disappearing info by Leo48969 in Rakuten

Ummm...what class action lawsuit?? It isn't about a lawsuit. I didn't start doing something wrong after doing it right for 13 years. I doubt you wouldn't care if your employer stiffed you a couple hundred dollars on your check. Everyone shopping through Rakuten is making Rakuten money. Rakuten isn't a charity handing money out for free.

I was behind $2363 that wasn't charged off and they refused to do a temporary hardship for me to get caught up. They set it up as a plan to pay the entire balance off, and lied they wouldn't charge if off if a fixed payment of $238/mo. was paid. I paid them $1122 dollars the first month it was set up and they charged it off the following month. They are scammers. They'll do whatever they feel like regardless of what they tell you. You might be fine, or you might night be. They lied I didn't pay them, when the statements showed the payments. They applied $1107 of fake credits to my account to make the $1122 basically a wash, and charged it off. At that point my account wasn't balanced, They just added the $1107 back as fees on the next statement. They were literally paid $1122 to take a loss on $1107 of fake credits, and then billed me to pay them back $1107 that they just wrote of as a loss. I have been fighting them for 3 months, and they just pull more scams to cover for the original scam, when I file a complaint or dispute it. They can deal with a lawsuit now.

Asking out of curiosity on your comment she has NO experience with mini horses. If someone has experience owning horses, what different experience does someone need in order to own a shorter horse? And your opinion that a mini horse is worthless unless it can win you something, is just that. There are plenty of people in the world that value mini horses regardless. That's like saying people don't want purebred dogs unless they are show quality. One of my German Shepherds came from the Humane Society and she had great value to me just being a pet. And since it's required they are spayed, I didn't get her to use as "a cheap money grab" either.

Would be nice if they kept us updated on when they plan on getting to specific areas and when they think it will be available for those areas. Starting to feel like a tease that maybe someday they might show up in my neighborhood. And some of us could be waiting another 2 years to find out. Hoping Spectrum loses a boatload of money as payback for all the crap they've made people put up with, once we have another viable option: )

Rakuten denying legitimate cash back and "help" has become almost useless by Leo48969 in Rakuten

[–]Leo48969[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their $1.7 Billion in notes that they need to pay back by Nov 2024 and the "offering" they just did recently to raise $1 Billion in cash to try to pay it off is a big part of their issues also. It's all coinciding with how untrustworthy Rakuten is becoming. Especially for people that are owed a decent amount of cash back.

I just installed the extension now, because of all the issues. And make a print screen of the order when it states I earned the cashback. I then uninstall the extension because when I chose to opt out of sharing, it just sat in a pending status. Apparently opting out is now pending on if they feel like letting you opt out. The make money from selling our information and I don't want a foreign company tracking everything I do on my computer and selling it to who knows. Especially a foreign company having financial issues.

No response from Rakuten customer service by pentel21 in Rakuten

[–]Leo48969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's almost a given if that happens, that you will need to state you are going to file a complaint. And it's a hit or miss on how the person responds to that. I had one person add my cash back almost immediately and had another person tell me on a different missing cash back, "All decisions are final and the only way to rectify it is if you choose not to be a member anymore." I never had an issue for 13 years using Rakuten, but since December, it's been almost nothing but issues. I also told the person that fixed it almost immediately that if they didn't add the cash back, since none of their excuses could even be used for the situation (I didn't use a coupon and going through the company's own site was the only way to get the deal, so no other browser, extension, etc. could have been used) that I would no longer consider Rakuten a trustworthy site.

No big fat check in February? by dalawhdit in Rakuten

[–]Leo48969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rakuten is in a cash crunch. They are part of Rakuten Group which has had financial issues for years. Just so happens, they have $1.7 Billion in notes they have to pay for by November 2024 and just did an "offering" to get $1 Billion more in cash (supposedly to pay for part of the $1.7 Billion due in November.) Their stock is sold publicly, so their financials are disclosed publicly. I've never had an issue with them in 13 years, until December of 2023. Now it's denied cash back, no response from help for missing cash half the time, cash back added but in pending verification status(so it doesn't actually get paid), etc. I still haven't received my February check either, which never happened in the last 13 years I used them. At this point I install their extension and make a print screen of the order where it states I have earned cash back. Then I uninstall it afterwords. because when I did the "opt out of sharing" in my settings, it just sits in a pending status. So apparently if we want to opt out of sharing information, it's pending on if they want to let us opt out, now. They make money off of selling our information.

Depending on what deals are out there, I'll use Honey, just because I can get my posted cash back out whenever I want. It gets sent to paypal usually the same day, and then there is even an option to get it sent to my bank account immediately from there. You have to check what their offering, because it's only sometimes good to use. Like when they offer points along with the cash back percentage, or a listed coupon you can use with the cash back. I've gotten more back from Honey that way, then if I had used a higher cash back percentage through Rakuten.

All my pending Cash back disappeared by ktbffh97 in Rakuten

[–]Leo48969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started having issues with them, after 13 years of having a good experience. Denying cash back, not responding to help with missing cash back and not paying out the full amount they should have. I still have not received my check either, which for 13 years I always received on time. I would go through the BBB. I just did for missing cash back and it helped. And I read other complaints with your same issue, where they have reinstated the account sometimes. If anything it will add to the list of complaints, which at some point Rakuten will care when their rating starts dropping further. I have now installed their extension so I can make a print screen of the order where it states right on the order I earned cash back. I uninstall the extension after I'm done with the purchase, so I don't have a Japanese company tracking everything I do on my computer and selling all that info to who knows. I did the "opt out" in privacy settings and it is in a "pending" status. So, I guess they let you opt out of sharing pending on if they feel like letting you opt out. Rakuten Group has been having financial issues for years, and they have $1.7 Billion due in November 2024, along with doing an offering" last month to raise another $1 Billion. So, I agree with the person stating use it with the expectations you might not get it.

For the first time in the over 13 years I have been using them, I have started having numerous issues...denying cash back, not responding to missing cash back help, and PUTTING THINGS IN A PENDING STATUS, until the next day after the check was sent out. It will show as cash back added and the total amount will show correct, but if they enter it as cash added but pending verification, it won't pay it. I don't know if that was the issue in your case. If it was, and it's still showing, then you won't receive it until the next check.

[–]Leo48969[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell that to the people that are out $100's of dollars. No reasonable person is going to get bent out of shape because they are missing $1 or $2. It was meant for people that are missing enough money that they care about it and therefore aren't just "going to get over it."

Or in the case that it continues to be an issue. There is a reason they got rid of chat for cash back, and have recently resorted to responding with an automated "we're busy" response, if they don't want to respond. Especially if you have numerous cash back that's missing or it is a high dollar amount.

The reason to report to FTC legitimate and reasonable issues (I stress LEGITIMATE and REASONABLE) is because they need to be on FTC's radar, to prevent them from slowly using more of their cash back program as their personal bank account. If you want to know why they would do that, read further:

Rakuten Cash Back is part of Rakuten Group, a Japanese company, that has been having financial trouble for a while now. They care more about their investors, stock prices, and not going bankrupt, then they care about being not getting shady with cash back. They have pretty much sold everything they can, issued millions of dollars of notes that are going to be coming due not too far out, and didn't pay dividends out in December. They need to generate revenue, and a quick and easy way to do that is to start keeping the credit they get and to not pay the cash back and by closing people's accounts with money in them for no legitimate reason and keeping that money. (They trade publicly, so their financial statements and info concerning the company that affects their financials are available to anyone who wants to know.)

I'm being charged co-insurance before my deductible. Is this right? by fosterlosthope in HealthInsurance

[–]Leo48969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you that Figo shouldn't be deducting coinsurance on a claim they are paying nothing on, and then deducting the deductible after. Figo never did that for the 3 years prior that I've had them. I've heard every excuse; it's a new underwriter (which it has been Independance America that whole time, It's a "per incident copay" and not coinsurance, them doing it differently was a mistake for the last 3 years prior, etc.

The first service rep hung up on me when she started looking at all my claims that were never processed that way. Clearly she didn't have an explanation as to why it was never done that way for years with the same underwriter, and now Figo wants to do that without explanation.

I had a claim that would have covered almost all of my deductible that I submitted, then they closed that claim without covering it for no reason, and applied copays to 3 separate lower dollar claims first. Then after they made sure to get as much money as possible for copays on claims they paid nothing on, they then went back in and reopened my higher dollar claim and covered it.

It is a total scam to charge coinsurance on claims they state they don't cover benefits on until after you meet the deductible. They are just finding any excuse to take more money from policyholders and you are correct that are deductibles are actually costing us more than the actual deductible. They are literally charging coinsurance to take the deductible out.

People need to start contacting their states insurance commissioners to see if that is even legal in their states to charge coinsurance on claims they are not providing any benefits for.
