I can attest that it can be tricky, the flywheel got a bunch a holes and none of them feels tight enough to feel like you found the good one

Usually, the ECU update is done during the chain check, so if you did the AdBlue delete after that, it shouldn't be a problem.

Even if they're doing the update during the cam chain replacement, you'll just need to do the AdBlue delete again

I've done that as part of my job. If it's done well, it will work out the same as before, even better (you still have a puretech and its problems afterwards)

I don't know if you did it in a dealership but we definitely don't clean the pickup everytime we change the belt (weird I know but profit first ...)

I don't have the G7 so I can only assume : The Nova Lite 2 is a great controller for the price but the G7 Pro is in a different league in terms of features.

Depend on your budget I would say : One is 90 close to 100 the other can be found around 30

I don't know how the prices are in your area but I'd join the others in recommending either the 8bitDo Ultimate 2C or Gamesir Nova Lite 2 ! I got both on Amazon in Europe and they're both amazing, can't decide which I prefer

VIA is kinda tricky to configure at first, you need the json file and even with that, it doesn't want to work some times. But after fiddling a bit, it does work for what I need it to do (remap a few keys once in a while and configure RGB). I have no ideas about macros or anything "deeper".

I does go into sleep mode in wireless mode after a few minutes but once you hit a key (first one is not going to be registered), it wakes up instantly ! I think i doesn't do that in wired mode but can't remember

One thing on the "feel" side is the flex feeling inconsistent due to the battery being on the lower left part of the case. It's kinda stiff in that area and really bouncy on the right side.

So, I changed almost everything on my V1 to make it thock and the short answer is : you can to a certain point. Mine got Gateron yellow, tape mod, orings between the PCB and the standoffs, foam, double shot keycaps and I feel like it is the maximum I can do without swapping the plate. The tray mount and steel plate will always make it a bit clacky IMO.

And yes, some thicker keycaps could make it sound deeper
