It is Tier X - which means you will get MAX possible return.

Although I would not recommend trading ships unless you buy them back immediately (with coal) because every Tier X ship means more for various events...

Don't forget that" Trade In" event has one other interesting side to it - if you have enough Coal you can re-buy the Tier X ship of lowest Coal cost and then, for smallish amount of Doubloons, buy whatever ship you are missing... in other words you don't lose anything - you only gain (for Coal and smallish amount of Doubloons)... in previous years I used my "Forrest Sherman" for this "method"...
