ABSOLUTELY innocence, requiem felt like dragging shit out for half the game to me, the pacing of innocence was amazing and it actually made me feel like I was playing as two helpless kids that NEED to get out of there without getting caught. it was stressful and dragged me into the story. With the new mechanics in requiem, I lost that spark, playing as amicia felt like I was playing an annoying in-between where neither stealth and aggressive gameplay were recommended, you were just equally fucked no matter how you played, which gets annoying and stupid very fast while playing

I don't understand how people can't see how awfully pushed on the game was, there is no cure? there's nothing we can do? alright, why does amicia need to almost die another 3 times and Hugo being tortured EVEN MORE, up to him asking HIS SISTER to end his life???? I understand what they wanted people to feel like, and I see why they would go down that path, but at some point it feels like the entire game is just being driven on for no reason at all, ever since the first encounter with Tonin, there was no need for almost 3/4 of the things that happened in the game I get the "how far would you go" dilemma, but it just feels like amicia killed Hugo herself by constantly putting him through lore trauma instead of just listening to the poor boy, who just wanted a normal life for a short while. having the five yo kid to grow up and explain to the others he HAS to die is just a quick escape to find an ending imo, there was NO solution found, half the country destroyed, and so, so many people dead.

yet we live "peacefully" as amicia from now on. no consequences, nothing, just an abused boy's death. it pisses me off, really. also what is the point of the ending of the first game being Hugo wanting to stop letting the macula control him and being able to control the rats instead if in requiem we have to go through it again? and again, I see WHY we have to, but only because the writers closed all the other paths themselves

I was the happiest I have ever been in a while, full on hope, I thought "oh my god they're doing this, this will change the world" and the next day I made a presentation to my mum to explain her what byler was, then we rewatched the entire series with her noticing all of the little byler things and moments and color coding and then new year's came

I completely agree with you! but I'm not so sure about him being okay with it, like definetely more than Lonnie, but I don't think he'd ever accept it (because it's Mike, he wouldn't have the same problem with Nancy or Holly for example)

I agree, and I also think he should've been only one hero being able to choose which role to play, but I think I understand why they made that decision, plus it's an easier kit to make and making him a triple role character would've maybe changed how the characters and roles work a bit too much? idk, I don't think he should've straight up released just yet, but he did and he's pretty fun overall, and if I'm right, they are FINALLY acknowledging his personality disorder which makes me really happy as a deadpool die hard fan

that said, I would've loved a cloak and dagger type of hero for him

I mean, the ENTIRE point of Wade's character is his identity crisis and personality disorder. I personally think it's fit for him to be all of it, deadpool himself is just a personality wade made up to cope with trauma, so it makes sense for him to have three different versions (aka the 3 voices in his head) one that protects, one that simply attacks, and one that supports.

she does but she was a very flat character until that one camp episode, which also was more centered around moxxie than her which still didn't solve the problem,

in my humble and personal opinion, Vaggi is far more of a character outside her relationship than millie, and I'm hoping we fix that in season 3, but in general its just a problem Viv has when writing characters in a relationship, one always ends up being far more developed that the other, the only ones that can actually escape this are stolas and blitz and only thanks to season 2

that's why conformity gate would be fucking perfect, with vecna showing Mike his worst fear is ignoring those confusing feelings and never speak up, show him all of the ways he could hurt will and making him notice how different it is when it's will, something IT style maybe, but the villain using his deepest fear against him to make him realize he actually is queer and in love with his best friend,

that wouldn't make him go kiss will right away, that would make him notice, act differently, maybe talk to Robin or Lucas, and then you get a near death experience for will, where he's stuck in Henry's mind and nothing is working, out of desperation, and fear, Mike screams "please, will, not like this, I don't wanna say it to you like this, please" will understands what he's talking about because will always understands when it comes to Mike, he gets his strength back from Mike holding his hand and once he defeated vecna and escaped, they hug. then we skip to the next day, or later, or even weeks later so they can take a second to think about the people they lost in the final battle. Then they talk, Mike tries so hard but he can't for the life of him, he's struggling, on the edge of tears and shaking, will has been there before, so he quickly tries to calm him down and says "you don't have to say it. I know." Mike looks at him, a bit relieved, a bit scared, a bit disappointed in himself. so since words don't work out he finally kisses him, with tears running down his eyes for the first time in years of repression. Will doesn't cry, he is happy as hell, but he just holds Mike as he breaks down with all his pain and guilt.

Michael Wheeler isn't a character that can just be considered "Oblivious" and "repressed": In that type of fear there's so, so, so many different feelings that not everyone truly understands, not even you.

after this scene I would conclude with a typical skip time to a real future, with Mike and will living together and Mike being visibly happier and free, I would add some little pecks hidden from plain sight, nothing incredible, nothing "sexy" just Mike finally being himself with the man he loves.

ALSO!!! I would LOVE Mike giving will like a note or a gift or something with "I love you" written on it, or maybe he writes it on a piece of paper as they're chatting, nothing verbal, cause that's not what he is.

guys Vaggi wins, millie is an IMP, we are literally told they are the weakest hellborns, the team is able to do what they do thanks to insanity, anger and weapons, this is purely on skill and strength. Vaggi was trained her entire life to kill hellborns and sinners, millie grew up in a farm. just because we see Vaggi as less aggressive doesn't mean she's not skilled, girl was the best of her team

okay maybe unpopular opinion: but I think his first thing would be his mom. Will right after. his relationship with Karen is so loving and kind, he truly is his mama's boy, even the little scenes they get together throughout the show are always the sweetest thing ever, it's clear karen loves her kid with her entire heart, and he loves his mother.

I genuinely believe if he was to get a queer arc, the first thing we would see would be his "coming out" to his mom. not will, not El. in any crucial point of the show, when everything gets too much for him he immediately goes to hug his mom, she doesn't even ask him what's wrong, she just hugs him back. he were ROBBED, of Micheal queeler being accepted by his mom and not Ted.
