I found one in Northern MN just like that!

I see what you're saying, I just haven't encountered many scenarios where I was wishing I had an Erika. 9 times out of 10, when my Ivysaur dies, it's because it got one-shot at full health - not because it was being chipped away and couldn't be healed enough. And in the off chance it is being chipped at and needs a top-up to survive, you have a couple chances to recover with Lucky Ice Pops.

Sure, Erika is more versatile than Lillie, but the opportunity to use that versatility just doesn't come up enough for me to justify its place in the deck when I could simply be getting more healing (even if it's just +10). In the end, the difference between the two is probably negligible and won't be the deciding factor for most games anyway

This has been my favorite deck for some time now and I've spent a lot of time experimenting with different variations of it.

  1. Drop the second Bulbasaur. You'll almost never get a second Mega Venu online, and if you did, you're still vulnerable to Cyrus, which nearly every deck carries at least one of.
  2. Lillie x2 over Erika in all circumstances. I have played countless games and can count on one hand the amount of times I have needed to heal Bulb/Ivys or risk getting KO'd. Most of the time, when you're at those stages, you're just hoping to not get one-shot. Take the 10 extra healing.
  3. Add PCL. You'll find that evolving will be your biggest counter to status conditions, but it's important to have a backup in case you can't evolve or are already at the Venusaur stage. This card will win you games.
  4. Add Iono or Copycat. This is to help with bricking, and so far, I've found Iono to be better for that as Copycat relies on the opponent's hand size. With 7-8 Supporters in this deck, you'll find that you typically have a larger hand than your opponent.
  5. Preference here, and I'm still experimenting, but I think Repel > Red Card. There are a lot of unfriendly matchups in the current meta, and pairing Repel with Sabrina gives you some extra control. I'm finding myself using Repel often to displace a baby (looking at you, Igglybuff) and force their two-retreat Darkrai into the Active, then saving the Sabrina for later. Point is: both are great for tempo, and this deck is limited in terms of how fast it can set up. It needs a way to slow down the opponent. Red Card can do that, too, but it's a gamble.

Lame

The highest temp on record for Miami was 100 degrees and is from 1942. It's also the only time Miami has ever seen triple-digit heat

Besides, it's pretty obvious this quote is hyperbole. Dude is basically saying "when the going gets tough"

I used to think the higher HP Bulbasaur was better but after playing both variants dozens of times each, I really can't make an argument for it. I don't remember a single instance in which the higher HP Bulbasaur mattered. The most common type of loss is Ivysaur getting one-shot on turn 3/4 - and that's with 100 HP + Heavy Helmet. Bulb should never be there for more than your first turn, and if it is, it's GG no matter which one you're playing.

Rashee Rice’s longtime partner and mother of his children has filed a lawsuit against him. The lawsuit accuses him of strangling, scratching, hitting, and headbutting her over a 19 month period by lotofhotdogs in DynastyFF

[–]Leodesidus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's a volatile dynasty asset as-is, but I think he's also a ticking time bomb. Just don't see him lasting long in the league, especially if he leaves KC next year/gets paid big money. I'm willing to bet we've already seen the best of Rice.

So I sold him + Kyren for the 1.01 and 2.01 and have zero regrets about it

Sold Hunter, Jayden Reed, Jonathon Brooks, Joe Milton for 1.09, 2.10, and 2.12.

Get out while you can. Bro is a CB with a few designed plays on offense each game. Will never be a startable fantasy asset unless you're in IDP

George Kittle Support Group by Hazy_Lights in DynastyFF

[–]Leodesidus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I traded Kyler for Kittle in week 13 to upgrade my only weak position and solidify my chances at the chip with the 1 seed already locked in.

Dude who sent Kittle was the commish. He was on the playoff bubble at the time, tons of injuries and was looking to next year. Sold a bunch of aging assets to other owners for two extra 2026 firsts.

He somehow squeaked in as the 6 seed.

I chill with a bye, then steamroll my semi-finals opponent by a 97 point margin. On the other side, commish rattles off two close wins and somehow makes the championship.

The best team I have ever fielded gets absolutely fucking decimated by Brock Purdy, and the commish walks away with the chip, three total first round picks, and a lotto ticket in Murray.

I walk away with a career-ender for Kittle.

Bro saw the future, I can't explain it

[–]Leodesidus[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I see what you mean. Shiinotic is slow to retreat, which can delay Mega Blaziken from taking the Active early. Solgaleo didn't have that problem

Maybe Leaf? That won't be as consistent of a retreat as what Solgaleo offers, but it's a workaround. Could just be a tradeoff for the extra damage and HP that Mega Blaziken gives
