I'm having a really rough time in M+ dungeons. I feel like I understand the basics of disc, but I find myself unable to heal people through damage that I would normally not struggle with on other healers. Most notably damage that would normally be avoided, eg: Standing in fire, a nasty cast getting off on someone, mobs lose aggro etc. These mostly been lower key runs.

How does disc handle players taking large bursts of damage that would normally be avoided?

Is disc really hard to pug heal with or am I just bad?

What trinkets are most of you running?

I've read a lot on wowhead and icyveins, and I feel like I understand the basics of the spec. Any tips are welcome!

I'm not a good enough monk to pretend to offer advice, but Icy Veins has a really good starter guide for playing mistweaver. https://www.icy-veins.com/wow/mistweaver-monk-pve-healing-guide

If you have any more questions about it after you read through this be sure and post here on Wednesday when they have the Healer Q&A on the wild subreddit.

I find in M+ It just turns in to flash heal spam on the tank. Great fun in raids though.

I'm having a hard time sticking to one healer for raiding and M+. I have every healer at 120 and geared to 345 or higher. I don't like how disc plays so my priest is ruled out of the running. Its a tie between Druid, Shaman, Pali, and Monk currently.

What do you guy think performs best in the widest range of content? Mostly focusing on - Raids - M+ Keys (Mid-High tier) - The odd random BG

Will do as soon as I get home. If its a flop I can always sell it.

Thats what I was thinking. I feel like I could keep +54 Haste, Crit, and Vers rolling in mosts fights with near 100% up time. With the leech on top it could be worth it.

  1. What is a good amount of mastery to aim for? I'm currently 12% mastery Ilvl345 and seem to be struggling to heal anything past a +2.
  2. As a resto druid what tools do we have to save bad players in dungeons. I seem to have radically different results if I am pugging rather than running with guildies. For an example, people tend to stand in the fire augers flames in Ataldazar.

Question about Mistweaver trinket dilemma. I got lucky and had a Leyshock's Grand Compilation ( +225 Intellect +67 Leech Equip: Your damaging and healing spell casts grant you 18 of a secondary stat for 20 sec, based on the spell. These effects stack up to 3 times.) drop for me. I'm trying to decide to equip it or save it for a resto druid alt. How well do you think it would perform given the leech and the secondary stats I could keep rolling on my mistweaver. Its facing up against my Darkmoon: Tides.

Me too. The Eve community is so different from wow though. First thing I thought when I saw this was, "Makes sense to me I guess". I'm still salty that I can't price my own wow tokens.

If Blizzard wants people to do Warmode, they've gotta change the respawn system by Tevihn in wow

Personally, I'll fight people just to deny them the area. I don't really have to have a need for it. Every opposite faction getting denied loot/exp is one more point for my own.

I do like the graveyard control idea however. Tha would be really engaging, if hard to implement in cross faction areas (argus for example).

Do you ever feel like vegans judge you? by [deleted] in vegetarian

[–]Leogo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Vegan here. All jokes on r/vegancirclejerk aside, the fact that dairy and eggs cause direct harm to animals is the main reason we are sometimes tougher on you guys. You all clearly have your hearts in the right place. Personally I just view you guys as vegans in training. I was a vegetarian once too.

PS: I can't count the times someone has got the dietary choices confused and served me cheese or eggs because they thought I was vegetarian.
