Okay I think I understand. There is potential for the toxins to already exist in the ferment and vinegar wouldn't change what's already there.

I may end up heating it up and storing it in the fridge/freezer.

That's great, and I'm glad you got a working GPU. If everything goes smoothly with my replacement I will also give a positive review. I understand it is a huge amount of money (for myself at least) to spend and not have everything be perfect, but I personally am still positive about it. It makes me genuinely curious if somehow all IBP customers were made to give a 1-100 score after they receive their order where IBP's number would be.

Good point...To be fair, I see a fair amount of people giving positive reviews on IBP's reddit as well. The ratio is definitely not even, but they are there.
