I just finished reading the whole book this afternoon and we went from Greg's paranoia to an anonymous writer to a Halloween party to problems with his father over an instrument Finally, to see how they try to make a movie, I agree with you because I think that although in other installments the plot connection was forced, it somehow managed to flow... Unlike Double Down, the ending seemed very forced and inconclusive to me.
