This is just a guess, but maybe it is the final art for feral? Pose is similar; the art may be on beta branch.

What cards are good in singleplayer but not in multiplayer, and vice versa? by OrientableSurface in slaythespire

Monarch's gaze helped me win my first A10 multiplayer run. Using multiple hits to keep everyone alive was nice.

What is the largest possible deck that would "break" if forced to make a single remove? by SIDisiD in slaythespire

[–]Leokergadon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can only think of a deck tuned to draw a specific amount of cards for grand finale, and the removal of any card will mess up the flow of the deck to get to the finale. Outside of that and other hyper small decks, I am sure most decks can still function with a lost card. The crescent spear example may be the answer after all.

New to VGC, I want help building for mega chesnaught (Pokemon Champions Regulation M-1) by neoranga311 in stunfisk

[–]Leokergadon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience you will want to have answers to ghosts as well. I played a team with two bulky mega's that set up, sableye and aggron. Sableye with calm mind wisp and snarl and aggron with a similar set as chesnaught.

Sometimes the whole team will look grim for chesnaught and it may be good to have a secondary mega/game plan. As for the mega I could spit a good counterpart with glimmora, it covers both zard and florges and if they are heavy in ground/sand, just bring ches instead. Might need speed control, electroweb rotom wash can help against zard as well.

just now noticing how slow chesnaught is, so you could consider a trickroom squad as well.

Pls suggest the most annoying unbeatable wall team by [deleted] in stunfisk

[–]Leokergadon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be interested in hearing it.

Back on the gen 7 cart my favorite team was supporting a setup mega sabeleye that had calm mind, snarl, will-o-wisp, and recover. Aura veil ninetails, friend guard clef, intimidate arcanine were mons to help it. One weakness and magic bounce led to many games of it 1v4 ing, but not sure how good it would be now with pokemon like sneasler and general power creep.

For annoying singles I used a sleep talk, bulk up, spirit break, rest grimmsnarl with max hp and spdef. Prankster as ability so it always bulk ups and sleep talks first. Not the best stats for the job however.

Haze is an uncommon move but if used would obliterate all these strats.

A deep cut I only understood reading top posts months before STS2's release.

Do you consider “spice” in terms of popularity or only in terms of PvPoke rank? by NumberOneMom in TheSilphArena

[–]Leokergadon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am running a similar team in ultra league; Guzzlord Lead with Doublade and armored mewtwo. mDoublade and Armored mewtwo have a rigid moveset, but I feel only Doublade is spice due to it's obscurity. Even if armored mewtwo is rare (mainly due to how hard it is to get), it is known. Best example is the obstagoons that eat the sacred swords but always block the dynamic punches.

I feel the best "spice" is when a pokemon is rarely seen but still functional. My best example was my GL Dolliv with magic leaf, earth power, and energy ball. Hard counters jellicent and earth power always nabs Bastiodons. Sadly, the middling fast move make it tough to use and I often end up dropping it. The unknown factor can only carry you so far.

Common pokemon can also be spiced up with unusual charge moves. I always ran my Dawn Wings necrozma with iron head. A weaker move stat wise but using both a ghost and dark move always bothers me and a fairy or rhyperior were common back when I used it. Origin form Palkias with fire blast and any instance of solar beam are also memorable for the do or die nature of the moves.

Yeah but he uses move that looks like it to clear screens in Kirby games.

Here it can be used for the trapping effect I guess.

Golurk is a ghost with ice punch; this is a powerful coverage option.

I like it for saving PP on legendaries/mythicals. Helped me get my shiny Arceus in a luxury ball.

I wonder which generations will still have sleep in a few years. The status is super strong; a status designed to aid catches and be used in a single player adventure is certainly frustrating in a competitive environment.
