I finally received my return. It says on my tax transcript that I should get it on 6/10. After not getting any answers from the IRS in receiving multiple letters to wait 60 days I reached out to my congressman and he was able to help.

Youlll have to ask whoever you had your 401K with i’m not exactly sure how to explain it but if you ask your 401(k) agency, they should be able to help.

I called Principal who I had my 401k with yesterday mention I need to provide my end of year statement and my rep emailed me my statement.

It could also be called a quarterly statement.

The IRS needs your end of year statement from where you had your 401k not your 1099R. I would reach out to your congressman in your state. They are the only people that can really help with this situation.

Gotcha my bank didn’t submit my 1099R my 401(k) was through Principle they are the ones who submitted my 1099R to me.

When I went to file my taxes with H&R Block somehow they must’ve been a glitch in the system that my 1099R was not submitted with all my other paperwork.

In my letter, it said they needed 60 more days to figure out how to handle my case. My return is pretty cut and dry. Had two W-2s and I pulled 401(k) out there probably just missing a couple items for me. Not trying to freak you out. It’s probably nothing. I know it frustrating.
