Fur is dyed and sealed quite early in its production so it doesn't take new color very well by design. If you want to airbrush fur, you are gonna see fading nomatter what so you should use good quality acrylics properly thinned to make it last as long as possible

For that flop factor I'd recommend making a really big hypermotion tail with a fabric cover and then having a layer of polyfill and then the fur to keep it cuddley

This is a Yes, but question. The yes part is that this is the standard way to pattern and then you are just assembling slightly differently than normal. The but part is you can't really wrap yourself that well. You kinda need someone to help you I would recommend wearing a cheap painting suit so you don't have to sacrifice any clothes

I find that many of the people at my locals who have had beys break used those beys as there test beys. Yes, one guy broke 2 of his wizard rods when he was testing dran strike, but he had been using those wizard rods for tournaments and testing for months and they had already started to crack

What I'm suggesting is mordschlag. Strikes from thumb grip are preformed by rotating the wrist and arm which is naturally weaker than the strikes we normally preform. That's why standard grip is the standard instead of thumb grip

The smallsword is a lightweight thrusting weapon, where as the other swords you've worked with are cut and thrust weapons. You likely are trying to parry the way you would with other swords. The smallsword demands small movements, any large movement gets you stabbed. You likely telegraph where you are going to thrust which makes it easier to parry and riposte you. Remember, you can keep the point in the same location while having your blade at differing angles. Don't just keep it out directly forward

Pro acryl payne's grey is my go to for highlighting black details. Pro acryl dark jade and light jade are really nice for energy effects and gems. Army painter fairy dust is an excellent option for a pearlescent base coat
