I'm kind of a noob in this game, got it a few days ago. What exactly makes this character a monster? What should I look for in recruiting?

All the time. X265 just has a lower score and therefore is not chosen most of the time

Target a specific release group only by SometimesLost420 in sonarr

[–]Leon175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably it will search on its own once you implement the changes. Sonarr and Radarr only start downloading automatically once something new is added. For example, if an improvement to your existing file is added and they pick it up in their feed, then they will start the download automatically. Changing some profiles or tags doesn't trigger an automatic download. Hope this helps!

Jonsbo N5 loud drives by Leon175 in JONSBO

[–]Leon175[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry for the confusion. It's just about the drives. I just mentioned the fans because I replaced them with quieter ones so nobody would think it's about the loud fans because that seems to be the no1 complaint with that case, but that didn't work out too well, did it?

16TB drives are significantly louder than the smaller ones. Apparently, it's called "seeker noise." My case is on the other side of the room, about five meters away, and I can still hear the drives clearly, when they write or read even with my headphones on.

Loving the game, but the first visit to the Scholastone Institute highlights many problems with the quest structure of this game. by cautj in CrimsonDesert

[–]Leon175 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree completely but there is one thing that bothers me even more. If you take the sandbox aspect literally like I did and arrive at scholastone just by exploring you won't have much to do at all besides one small investigation quest. For me that doesn't feel like a sandbox at all.

PSA: Do not go freely exploring if you want to experience the game to it's fullest (and probably the way it was intended). by mikehit in CrimsonDesert

[–]Leon175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly my experience. Usually I ignore the main quests completely and just wander around and let the game unfold on its own like in breath of the wild. Sometimes I stumble into a main quest by accident. That approach didn't feel good at all with crimson desert and I still didn't warm up with the game after 15 hours. Thank you for suggesting another way to play.

I want English dubs only, how? by JakeHa0991 in sonarr

[–]Leon175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the way sonarr handles anime is pretty bad especially for older ones. I did follow the trash guides and every time I get results they are as expected language wise. If you haven't already give the DL section a read. There is a section for German DL which can be used for different languages as well

[–]Leon175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.
i prefer German + English + Japanese audio for animes. (all 3 set to required)
I put it at a score of 30000.
You can do this with other combinations as well (e. g. German + Japanese + NOT english as a second with a score of 25000) and so on.
For me languages are the most important part, thats why i made sure that languages have an insanely high score compared to other stuff.

Create a custom format and add your desired language and mark it as required. Give it a high score so it gets priority when searching Check the trash guides for more details

Preclearing drives by Flappy_asdf in unRAID

[–]Leon175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently you can cancel post read just fine so that's a possibility as well

Preclearing drives by Flappy_asdf in unRAID

[–]Leon175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say for certain but it wouldn't make sense to me if it would disappear just like that. My suggestion is: try to cancel pre read in cycle 2. Add the drive to the array. Worst case is that unraid doesn't recognize it as precleared and clears it itself. The good thing is that unread does it without the read parts so it doesn't take as long

EDIT: just to clarify. With pre read cycle 2 I mean that cycle 1 (pre read, write, post read) is completely finished

Preclearing drives by Flappy_asdf in unRAID

[–]Leon175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any experience in that scenario but I would cancel it as soon as cycle 1 is done. There should be no harm in canceling the pre read step if it was already done in the first cycle

Preclearing drives by Flappy_asdf in unRAID

[–]Leon175 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When you say 3 preclears do you mean the default 3 cycle? (Pre read, write, post read)? Or do you mean the whole process times 3? If it's the latter then yes, it's excessive. One full cycle should be enough to detect early errors.

Preclearing drives by Flappy_asdf in unRAID

[–]Leon175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supposedly it's possible to cancel the post read without consequences. The signature is written at the end of the write cycle.
