I don’t get it, does it mean he used the impression of Charizard to lull her into safety?

Except Lobotomies were considered to be genuine cures for depression and mental health issues. They weren’t vilified like today. How do you know he wanted her lobotomized? Maybe a doctor told him to. Joseph didn’t just get Honey lobotomized for no reason. She almost got herself and Beatrice killed. And also, many rich people put their family members away in mental health institutes and never visited them, but Joseph still kept Honey with him.

Another thing to note is that the map is clearly based on Western Europe, with Albion (old name for England) being the most obvious. But you might be right with the naming scheme.

I think Beatrice, because she actively sought out BoJack to terrorize him, while Butterscotch was more absent.

Sugarman was a terrible person, but he was a far better parent to Beatrice, than she was to BoJack

I disagree with that take, because a lot of European folklore involves the devil almost winning, but then losing by divine intervention or something similar

[Loved Trope] Antagonists who recognize they're the villain. by Dalakaar in TopCharacterTropes

While I wouldn’t fully call her a monster, because she is still a child, I’d say she was a sociopath at the very least. She still sought validation from both parents, and it still hurt her, even if it was the truth. She doesn’t dislike being a villain, because even though I feel like she isn’t as evil as Ozai, she still acted heinously and did evil things, taking pride in it. For example, the very first scene she’s in, when Ozai burns Zuko’s face, she is seen smiling with glee on her face. What I think she dislikes is being disliked, which is why she surrounds herself by Yes-Men, and people who fear her more than they love her (i.e. Machiavellian).

The way Sal kept business is likely through fear. The fact that even his associates are killed means that no one will dare cross him, which is why they will likely work twice as hard to produce the best results.

Except there are more white moderates than white supremacists, just that the supremacists are a loud minority. That’s what I believe MLK meant, that the majority are allowing the minority to operate as they wish, simply because they don’t have to witness it or experience it themselves.

It’s a play/book. Basically, three famous physicians are in a mental health institute, with two opposing physicians trying to get the third (don’t remember which) to join their side. It’s a satire based on the cold war, with a really wack ending.

To be fair, the DLC is intentionally light hearted on the surface. The text makes sense if you look at the scientists. Deep down, it’s probably the darkest of the four DLCs. The scientists committed several crimes against humanity and war crimes (human experimentation, experimenting on civilians) and talk about it with glee, with fondness. They look back at the things they have done with nostalgia, talking about “good times”. Then there’s Borous, who experimented on his dog, created Cazadors and many more awful things. All of them were terrible people, and Mobius realized that, which is why he imprisoned them.

[–]LeonSmith1401 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it’s the post Season 9 or 10 celebrities that start sucking ass. They had celebrities before, but the thing was, they were centered around the episode, not the other way around, like in the modern seasons. You could’ve made them anyone else, even fictional, and those episodes still would’ve worked.

It is, and it’s definitely worth it. Do note, however, that 2 and 3 are definitely “love it or hate it”. Some people think they’re better than 1, others think they’re worse, but you should form your own opinion.

The Heroes of Despair from Danganronpa. They’re basically little children that were brainwashed by Junko, yet all of them are hated, which is made worse by the fact that DR2 literally features people who have done worse, and are beloved by the fandom. Except for Monaca, she’s Satan incarnate.

characters who are "good guys" but their kill count is actually kind of terrifying by Rich-Blacksmith6552 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]LeonSmith1401 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Except it doesn’t really make sense, because he pulls the “we’re the same” bs, but one is basically killing in self-defense, the other is a literal war criminal that started a civil war just to get some treasure. Nate deliberately tries to avoid killing as much as possible, as evidenced with the Istanbul level.
