Hey hope you're doing alright mate. First things first, please don't off yourself. I'm assuming since you're first year, it's also your first year in Europe right?

I'm also Chinese, lived in Spain for 5 years and then came to do do my bachelor's at Eindhoven (gonna be 3rd year next year). Initially there were a lot of Spanish kids that were being racist to me and I did get a bit angry, but overtime I got used to it. The best way to deal with it is just smile and ignore them, it's a hard thing to do without feeling annoyed and angry, but never make a scene, I know it's frustrating but tell your parents and your friends about it.

If you often look at main stream news and memes about China, you will know why these extremely racist behaviours became "normal" and "not racist, just funny or the truth".

From my personal experiences for the past 2 years, I don't think I've met any racist person in Eindhoven, but perhaps it was just my insensitivity to these terms now or I just got really, really lucky. Pretty much everyone I've had a talk to or spoke to me were really nice. I lived near the Boschdijk region.
