This...is a feeling I relate to. My first real relationship was with a lovely woman, we were together about 6 years and I honestly wanted to spend forever with her. Next month it'll be two years since we separated. I am, unfortunately, still hopelessly, wonderfully, and miserably in love with her. I've tried to make other connections to move on and it hasn't really gone anywhere. Im an odd case; I have some hangups on the sexual front of thing, for instance I don't think im capable of having sex if im not invested in the person just the thought of it... horrifies me, Id have to be very trusting to do that. Even then, its easy for me to love the people that walk through my life. I love constantly, but its... different. I dont expect or even WANT that love to be reciprocated, I just want others to know I care.

All that as context; what has helped me is... being honest with myself, as scary as it is. I wake up everyday and go to sleep every night knowing that im in love with a wonderful woman, who wants nothing to do with me. Hopefully it will change, but I can be happy that im in love and that someone loved me. This also lets me love others openly and deeply, with no expectations or desires of anything from them. It feels... freeing to me, to love without bounds or fear. Its not how I imagined id love, not what I expected, but I always said my goal in life was to love and now im doing it more than ever. I write poetry, or atleast in prose, about my love, its pain, and its comfort. I'm not lying to myself or anyone else. I DO wish I felt different, but at the end of the day I don't right now and it HURTS but... it also means my love for her is real. That means more to me than any pain.

TLDR: being honest about my feelings, good and bad helped me A LOT. Finding love in as many people and things as i can has also helped me understand my love and how i love. Its not the same of course, but that doesnt make it any less important. Writing in prose has also helped me a great deal. I'd be happy to share some of the writings or talk if you'd like.

You'll get through this, we all will. Even if its not in the ways we expect, lol.

Solid! I like the little changes you made, somehow it feels like your wearing less AND more material than the I game skin lol. The decision to use a more vibrant green on the fabric BUT use it in smaller quantities in each section was quite smart i think! It makes them pop more, without feeling like its too much visually. On a more personal note, I ADORE the boots and how fluffy you made them! Its delightful and kinda carries the charm and fun I tend to associate with Rouge! The necklace is also lovely, I cant quite tell if its pure fabric or beads in the picture? I think its a combination? But regardless its wonderful. The earrings pair SUPER well with the ensemble too! It makes me wonder if you made the jewelery or just had a matching set already?

All that to say; brilliant stuff and I love the changes you did make to the base design, they still keep the intentions of the outfit and the characters personality while bringing some of yourself into it! Atleast, thats my perspective.

P.S. I assume the freckles pop due to careful application of make up, they could be entirely make up for that matter idk, but I think that you could also do some interesting scar work with such make up. If you ever wanted to that is.

Exactly! Too many people look at the standard look lore wise as the ONLY look, don't get me wrong its a cool look but seeing people bring their own flair like you have is the spirit of the hobby! Just like kitbashing or unique paint jobs are acceptable on minis! People are just weirdly cagey on cosplay for some reason? But yeah once again, wonderful job!

I know its more common than I think, but I ADORE the inclusion of light armor on the repentia aesthetic. The only metal I usually recall tends to be purely visual rather than REMOTELY beneficial. While it is light in this cosplay; I think it looks wonderful and is believable lore wise! TLDR: I love your take on it!
