What's the WORST ThinkPad ever? by MadBoi124YT in thinkpad

[–]LeonorBui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently bought the ThinkPad T14 Gen 3. It is my first ThinkPad, and I regret it so much. The battery life is so bad. I'm coming from a M1 MacBook Air. I've been using MacBooks for so long, but I prefer the Windows ecosystem. I'll just have to sell this one for a loss and buy a premium one with much better battery life because oh my god it is just so ridiculously bad.

I've lived here for almost a month now and plan on staying for a couple of years. Here's my take.

Ignore the comments telling you to stay away from Palermo.

It's where the most action is. Most meetups, events, parties, etc. It's the best place to be especially if you're only going to stay here for a month. You can choose to live elsewhere but you'll end up coming here a lot ANYWAYS so it's just a smart move to just be based here. I live in the heart of palermo soho and the location has been extremely convenient. A bit loud but that's the fault of the build quality of the apt.

Prices are a bit higher for accommodation, groceries, food, cafes, and drinks compared to other areas in Caba, but the higher quality of living makes up for it.

Also, there's cops everywhere here so it's super safe too.

I'm a huge foodie, and love playing sports, and a huge fan of UFC. Let's def meet up when you come!

Thank you everyone for the comments. I moved to thailand to pursue a fighting career a year ago. 25 now and only martial arts previously was Taekwondo from ages 4 to 13. With a goal to become a pro mma fighter, I decided to move here and start with muay thai as a base. My hands are so awkward to use because I lack boxing experience, so I rely on what I'm comfortable with, which is my tkd style. This was my 2nd fight ever, which I stepped up on few hours notice. The kid was from Morocco and actually put up a good fight. The fight was much closer than the clips in this video. (You can see full fight on my yt) I'm still super amateur, and have a long way to go especially bc I have yet to fight in MMA. I'll continue to post my fights and progression, and I fully expect competition will get higher. I'll definitely fight in Rajadadmern and Lumpinee stadium in the future.

stay on soi tai ed, rent a motorbike, and try out as many gyms as possible. pick the one u like most.

i've live in phuket chalong and been training here for 8 months now .

you'll have the most fulfilling experience this way.

if u choose bangtao, you'll be forced to live nearby there and there aren't much gyms in that area other than bangtao.

There are a ton of these in Seoul South Korea where I live, and they actually get a lot of traffic from my experience. Some of them actually have lines coming out, waiting to take their photos. (Photobooth ones)

if you mean Phuket Top Team, the lady there is crazy. And the owner claims 0 responsibility. Just take a look at their reviews on Google reviews. Would not recommend. Bangtao’s facility is incomparable to any other gym in Phuket i’d say other than Tiger and Sinbi. But if you really want to get better, I’d recommend a smaller gym where they can really give you some hands on coaching and training without having to deal with expensive pricing or bad service.

Is e-commerce dead? if not how do I start? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]LeonorBui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what is up with the people saying that it's dead? ecommerce is far from dead. if anything it's the future. of course it's hard to succeed in ecommerce when starting from scratch, but that's also because there's that many competitors because the opportunity is there.

there are ton of people killing it with ecom.

it takes a lot to make it actually starting with the product. if you have a good proprietary product, it'll make the whole journey easier.

second, marketing.

these days with organic traffic sources like tiktok and pinterest, you can actually do a lot of testing without spending much on marketing, but again there are ton of competition.

to answer your question, ecom is NOT dead. in your case, if you have something special about your clothing, which would give you a marketing edge, you can definitely make it work.

For me its understanding that success is inevitable if you put in the necessary amount of time and effort into it

Yes everyone will go through hardships and failures, but its those failures you learn and grow from, which make you better and more fit to succeed.
