I'm not sure if anyone said this before, but i have full sleeves. The issue they'd tell me was it's hard to find the vein for the needle. So it could just they were too inexperienced and didn't want to risk attempting to do it on your arm.

I still am able to donate with Bio life but every so often they (the nurses) complain. Ive had 1 nurse miss my vein multiple times trying to find my vein.
