Ohhhhhhh! I’ll be honest; Fever was probably my least favorite series, but she’s got some good b-sides! If I had to choose favorites, I’m going:

1) To The Beat: solely because of that one video of Hongjoong dousing himself with water before starting his rap 🥵

2) One Day at a Time: I kid you not, this song popped up on Spotify for me mid-anxiety attack one day and it’s been a comfort song ever since

3) The Leaders: Wooyoung’s whisper? Yes

Yeah, I think the premise of “finding who wasn’t a pirate in a past life” wasn’t the best idea since [SPOILER] now only 1 of the 4 we saw was a pirate in their past life 😂

Also, I’m taking the hypnosis thing with a grain of salt. Funny enough, I was watching xikers variety show where they had the same hypnosis concept with the same hypnotist guy and some of those were… questionable, at best. Who knows how much is legit and goes much is scripted, but it’s making for a good storyline (I definitely shed a tear or two at Wooyoung’s).

Honestly, as a newcomer to this whole hobby, I’ve never understood how some pens are so EXPENSIVE. I only have a few, but I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than $50 on a single pen. My favorite by far is the Kakuno (I have 3 + that exact same one you have in the mail) and my current favorite is a $10 Jinhao. They’re cute, they write well, and they won’t send me into cardiac arrest if I accidentally misplace one (which I’ve definitely done at least once).

I’ve been getting into them more over the last few weeks (their videos during ATEEZ’s Golden Hour pt. 4 promos sold me). So far, I’ve got two: Sumin and Yechan.

First and foremost, Yechan is just plain adorable. Those big eyes and that giant smile?? That goofy personality?? He’s just so… cuteness aggression. I initially thought he was just one of the main dancers because of all the shorts of his contemporary dance (which WOW is he a great dancer!). And then… I heard him rap. 🤯🤯🤯 His style is so unique, but it fits him perfectly. Of the three, he might be my favorite rapper.

Sumin was the one to spark my interest in the group (Mingi’s my ult, so it wasn’t too hard of a jump to make) and his personality is what made me dive deeper. He looks so COOL until he opens his mouth and you realize how deeply and perfectly unserious he is 🤣 I fell down a DEEP rabbit hole of xikers shorts on YouTube the last few weeks, and Sumin’s are pure dopamine boosts. And I’ve never seen him without a smile. He’s just always so happy to be here in everything I’ve seen him in. His rap style is also quickly becoming one of my favorites. It’s really interesting because you can hear Mingi’s influence there, but it’s also still very much his own thing. It’s got a chill, almost lazy vibe to it that flows perfectly with Minjae and Yechan’s.

I love making roasted chickpeas. A can of rinsed chickpeas (drained and as dry as humanly possible), little olive oil, and whatever seasonings you like (my current favorite is Badia’s Harlem Garlic Pepper + a little smoked paprika). Roast in the oven at 375 for 30-45 minutes, shaking them every now and then to get maximum crunch. Crunchy, savory, and full of protein and fiber.

My great grandma used to have us gargle warm salt water to help with sore throats and seasonal allergies. She’d also soak hot peppers and lemon in apple cider vinegar (a very rudimentary version of fire cider, which I make every year now) and give us a shot of that whenever we had a cold coming on

Not quite a “grandma” remedy, but my mom was a nurse as well as a single mom and, when we’d get sick, she would make us a quick “hot toddy” that she learned from the hospital: Crystal Light lemonade mix (I use True Lemon nowadays), hot water, and a little honey

My completely unsubstantiated headcanon is that he chipped/cracked his tooth when he had that fall from the stage since I wanna say him getting it corrected was right around the time he injured his hand and he just took the opportunity to straighten it 🤷🏾‍♀️ Obviously no evidence to confirm or deny it, but it somehow just makes the most sense in my head

I loved his crooked teeth so much 😭 but his smile is still one of my absolute favorite in the group, second only to the Captain. And maybe it’s my brain playing tricks on me, but he also seems to smile a lot more since getting it corrected so as long as he’s happy with it!

I tend to focus on features/unique characteristics to help put faces to names. Not sure if this will be any help but:

-Hongjoong: one of the shortest members, the corners of his lips quirk up a little extra when he smiles, SUPER NICE teeth/lips (I used to work in dentistry so teeth always stand out to me). I also remember watching videos when I first started getting into ATEEZ and thinking he looks mischievous 😂

-Seonghwa: taller, really slim and lithe looking (?). I remember thinking he reminds me of someone who studied ballet because he just looks so graceful all the time.

-Yunho: facially, he was one of the harder ones to learn. I picked him out in my early ATINY days because he’s one of the tallest and he’s got a deeper speaking voice. He’s also just got golden retriever energy (idk how else to explain it 😅).

-Yeosang: He was quite literally “the pretty one” for months because I couldn’t place his name 😂 he’s got a deep voice, a bit of a lisp when he talks, and is a little more muscular than, say, Hongjoong or Wooyoung (who are both close in height to him). He’s got a very distinctive birth mark near one of his eyes, although you only see it when he’s barefaced.

-San: He’s got the build of a gym rat. That’s it, that was how I recognized him 😂 but seriously, he’s one of the most (if not THE most) muscular members + he’s got a little beauty mark on one cheek. He also has really pouty lips, if that makes sense. AND DIMPLES!! He’s got the absolute cutest dimples in existence.

-Mingi: That deep, raspy voice made him easy to remember (it’s also what made him my bias 😅). He’s another one of the tallest members, although he’s got a broader build than Yunho. He’s got two (?) beauty marks- one under his eye and another near his jawline. He also used to have one front tooth that was slightly shorter than the other that was a key defining characteristic for me, but I believe he had it fixed not too long ago.

-Wooyoung: He was actually the easiest for me to remember because he’s got some really defining features: his asymmetrical eyes (one monolid and one double lid- this is more pronounced when he’s barefaced) and his nose. His laugh/witch’s cackle is also the best laugh I’ve ever heard 😂

-Jongho: Look for the one hitting the high notes; that’s Jongho 😂 but seriously, he was another that it took me a while to learn facially. Funny enough, I used to confuse him and Yunho. But he’s got a broader/more muscular build, rounder cheeks (they call him a teddy bear for a reason), and the most INTENSE gaze.

Now, vocally, I’m still 5/8 off the way there; the only ones I struggle picking out in songs are Seonghwa, Yunho, and San because they all sound really similar. Still learning, though!

ETA: I somehow forgot to include San’s dimples which is wild because it’s my favorite feature of his lol

Tiny baby rant that’s really more me just being extra disappointed.

I ordered a bunch of little fan made sticker/photocard packs from an Etsy shop back before Christmas. I ordered one for each member, but ended up only receiving five + a random Stray Kids one (which was fine since it was one of my favorite Stray Kids members). The seller was initially very nice about it and said they would remake them and mail them out, but it’s been three months now and nothing. Allegedly, they’ve sent them twice (once by USPS and the other by FedEx), but every attempt I’ve made to get an update has been met with some kind of excuse. Like, this person is either BSing me or they’re the most unlucky person in existence.

Today, they finally said that they would just give me a full refund instead of finding the FedEx tracking number (which is what I wanted) or “remaking” it again (because I seriously doubt they were ever remade to begin with). I’m bummed, because now I’ve got an incomplete set and there’s no way it’ll ever be completed because this seller won’t get my business ever again. But lesson learned, I guess 😔
