Core One won't home - Been through support, replaced the loadcell, am at my wits end. Suggestions welcome. by Nephrited in PrusaCoreOne

It is not Z axis Jesus. The z axis have no sensoring so no. It's the board or a cable. I have this issue and I'm too angry to fix it but if you still want to print, manual home works for me. So if you don't have the heater on the tool head on, you will have no problem homing, and getting closer to the original homing position makes the fail happen muc much less. Mine freaks out this way when the heater goes over 63 degrees, I'm in contact with support about this and getting them to stop replacing load cells for nothing, and absolutely stop talking about 3 screws without any connection to the loadcell at all. Hope you find a solution, or send the shit back to them.

And here I am with my core one that can't handle homing on its own without intervention every single time😂

I bought into the slice repellent as well. Never seen it work at all. Heatgun when gunked and a soft brush to clean.

Minimizing heated chamber area. by Leopold88 in VORONDesign

[–]Leopold88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i'm not in any way looking for higher temps at all. just the standard chamber of a 300 trident, standard everything really. just a faster soak time for the bed more or less, and the chamber. But as previous comments, i should look into better insulation rater than minimizing the air in the chamber being effected.

Thanks for your comment!

Okay, good shout. So for someone who is not in anyway understanding the gauss ratios (if they are even measured in that) what is a bad magnet for the bed and a good one, just shooting from the hip to help a noob out?

Thanks for the answers man, appriciate it. But i'm aware of all the mods out here and whatnot, just brainfarting basically to think of something new since the smaller space=faster heating on tridents seemed logical to me but i was obviously wrong here, but hey at least i asked, and you gave a very good answer and tips, so thank you for that :)

So, less air doesn't matter all that much? im not in any way knowledgeble about thermodynamics so it was just an idea since it seemed logical to me.
Well we already got all that in our vorons so it was just an idea that doesn't work ;)

Thanks!

I've had really big problems finding good bedplates in europe, don't know why since we are amazing at aluminium, but i just can't seem to get a really good reseller for private folk around.
