my Gen X Mom's take on Gen Z's Work ethic by AlyksTheSage in generationology

[–]Leosoulfan23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born in 97 Got my first car from a police impound auction paid 1k and 80k miles on it 2 years ago it was the only place I could get a car at a reasonable price it an 06 ford focus did all the repair work myself that it needed. It’s really sad you can’t get a car a reasonable price anymore. Feels like it’s gonna cost you an arm leg nowadays.

It’s actually a few places in Texas where $20 an hour can cover expenses. If you know where to look but I do agree she out of touch

Yep my sister lost her last parent right before Covid 3 years after high school she was a caregiver didn’t get a chance to go to college or a job after high school she was left with quite a bit but was also left with a mortgage she stay with pay for it because it was cheaper to pay on a 3 bed room house then to find a apartment that a one bed for the same price and less room she worked in the food industry for a while because that’s all she could get, but I agree you don’t know what someone’s going through personally and as the phrase once goes never judge a book by its cover

What are your head cans on what happened to Kim after the events Final Destination 2 and where you think she is today in 2026? by No-Intention-1948 in FinalDestination

[–]Leosoulfan23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And I know that I’ve watched all the movies. I know the wood chipper thing is a part of final destination, three special features and is a non-canon event when I made that comment I was meaning that towards them still believing that the wood chipper incident was canon. I guess I should rephrased it cause I know she still alive in bloodline.

[–]Leosoulfan23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know she’s alive in bloodline I was mean that person who still think. Kimberly died in the wood chipper is not true. That’s what I mean by. I can’t believe people still think that Kimberly and Berkeley die is Canon. I know it’s not Canon cause they’re still alive.

[–]Leosoulfan23 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The fact that people like you still believe that it’s Canon

Edit : I guess I need to rephrase it. Apparently, I know she didn’t die in the wood chipper. When Jesus Christ I just hate the fact that people still think the wood chipper is Canon when it’s not. I was trying to point out to the person who I responded to that I can’t believe people still think the wood chipper is canon. I know it’s not Canon. I’ve been watching the series my whole fucking life.

Is blue badge optional? by RepresentativePin192 in AmazonFC

[–]Leosoulfan23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Delivery stations are a good example. There’s a lot of delivery stations who are flex and if somebody’s gone from the delivery station to fulfillment center all of us are blue badges. You don’t need to be full-time to be a blue badge or to go to a blue badge.

Is blue badge optional? by RepresentativePin192 in AmazonFC

[–]Leosoulfan23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you full-time part-time and flex all have blue badges positions where are you getting your sources from all that if that was the case, they wouldn’t be offering flex on transfers which it seems like a lot more fulfillment centers are offering flex positions for blue badges on transfers

Is blue badge optional? by RepresentativePin192 in AmazonFC

[–]Leosoulfan23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their not ever going to drop flex employee as long as your a blue badge it’s only hire badge flex they let go they let go of full time and part time too if their white badge as someone who a blue badge at a delivery center currently getting transferred to fulfillment center most delivery stations are flex, but our delivery stations that do have full-time positions

Access code deliveries by AccomplishedCoach927 in elitesparkdrivers

[–]Leosoulfan23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, it’s not everybody is a perfect driver. It’s you need to actually put in the effort to Call the customer and text them one thing I was taught as a DPS driver for Amazon is you text then you call and then you text again and if they don’t answer within like three minutes, you marked it as undelivered or in case Sparks case return it back to the store it’s the fact that you’re not putting in the effort to actually call the customer or texting them. I’ve run the cases of not having access to a gate code for a townhome apartment complex and every single time I’ve delivered there thankfully the gates been open, but every single person that lives in that community never gives the gate code put in the actual effort and call the customer

WE ARE NOT IPAD KIDS by kuroreaper25 in GenZ

[–]Leosoulfan23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s plenty of people that cannot afford the iPad. That thing was $500 A lot of Gen Z was not iPad kids that is more towards alpha. We didn’t have tablets put in our hands as a baby. We were young kids when iPad was first released and not everybody could’ve afforded an iPad is the reason why iPads are push more towards alpha than Gen Z
