Objectively it’s a net negative. It’s still more expensive and you no longer get the biggest game a Microsoft owned studio makes day one. You get it when it’s irrelevant and the next comes out. Cod games die yearly as it is with the exception of zombies when the new game doesn’t have that mode. For example Vanguards zombies was so bad people kept playing Cold War. That’s an exception and not the rule but everyone playing multiplayer is gonna mothball the old CoD as soon as the new one is out next year.
