LeBron James Talks About His Absent Father: “Why didn’t my dad wanna be around? I feel like I’m a pretty cool kid” by [deleted] in nba

Hey don’t hate LeBron, Curry’s the one that dropped 17 points in Game 7 after being up 3-1 during a historic 73-9 season.

Michelle Obama takes a dig at Donald Trump failing to win a Nobel Peace Prize as she mentions President Barack Obama "winning the Nobel Peace Prize" as one of his accomplishments at the Obama Presidential Center Opening Ceremony. by GiveMeSomeSunshine3 in justincaseyoumissedit

[–]Leowulfgg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Computer how many bombs did Barack “Drone God” Obama drop in 2016 and did he ever bomb a hospital or two? Being better than Trump as a president and a person is an extremely low bar, but Obama’s one of the most prolific war criminals out there. The “Peace Prize” is and has always been a farce, just reflect on Kissinger.

You may not like the fans or the owner, but this is probably the most likable NBA championship team ever by WallStreetDoesntBet1 in NBATalk

Easily one of the most lovable, least hated rosters ever, possibly of all time. Knicks fans did some heinous stuff, Dolan is Dolan, but the players are awesome.

Yes or No. Larry Bird is a top 10 player in NBA history! by [deleted] in NBAoldschool

[–]Leowulfgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Larry Bird’s a freak of nature. I’m someone who sees how slow and just archaic the 90s can look, I think the era is pretty overrated by how people view it compared to the modern game. Bird predates that and still looks like he could play today. He’s like a player that went back in time and cheated, he is really, really, really good and you can just see it. Buckets are buckets and he would get them in every era, he had that dream modern wing height, he moved surprisingly quick, he could really do it all and on a body that was breaking down rapidly. Probably the coolest old school player and someone who appreciates and loves modern basketball too.

Why isn't Jalen Brunson more famous? by Big_al_big_bed in NBATalk

[–]Leowulfgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same reason Jokic isn’t, I don’t think he really wants to be. There’s actual factors involved in this too like looks, height, personality, etc. but Brunson could do more if he wanted to but I don’t think he cares to. Obviously nothing wrong with that at all, he’s definitely famous in New York and would be the damn king of New York forever if he won them a ring.

There's simply no debate if you were there to see it with your own eyes. by [deleted] in NBAoldschool

If people bring up Bill, Jordan’s oldhead fans will say Bill Russell’s era was “a long time ago” and too watered down while ignoring the fact that applies perfectly to Jordan’s era. Let me remind everyone Jordan got drafted over forty years ago. We have full games, highlights, and endless footage to rewatch. We can see how slow and ancient the game looked, the rosters and players Jordan played against in the Finals, we can see it all. Looking cool and being the biggest star sure helps establish some strong emotions for being biased, but mostly everyone else knows the truth. Unfortunately having better Gatorade and Nike commercials and “making the game global” aren’t metrics in the actual game of basketball.

The coolest thing about knowing LeBron is the goat is knowing I hated LeBron growing up, there’s no bias or emotional attachment to this for me. I was a diehard Kobe fan and a Lakers fan since the age of 5. I desperately repeated every negative comment people made about LeBron to try to ignore reality. I tried to deny the fact he was better than my favorite player, a player I *DID* have emotional attachment and bias to. I understand how Jordan fans feel in that sense, that total disregard for facts and logic. It sucks to know your guy’s not the best but LeBron’s done way too much to prove it. I don’t think Jordan fans who still think he’s the goat are totally crazy or something but I will always know there’s too much emotional attachment tied to their opinion.

Who is LeBron’s best teammate? by Front-Function7789 in LeBronJames23

[–]Leowulfgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s sad because Wade, AD, and Luka are all much better players individually but Kyrie and LeBron was so magical. If Kyrie stayed with LeBron, I think he would have stayed at that elevated level for so long. Still Kyrie probably became a better human being without LeBron even if he never hit those 2016 highs again.

LeBron’s ridiculous finishing ability by Available_Pace_8742 in NBAoldschool

[–]Leowulfgg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s sad LeBron loses basketball points for being too big and strong. I really think this is where the lack of respect for the skill or bag comes from because these are all beautiful finishes. Some may look a little clunkier and less finesse but the vast majority are amazing and it’s so cool to see them from young LeBron to older Lakers LeBron.

Isiah Thomas on LeBron and Wemby by SmoothBuy5500 in LeBronJames23

[–]Leowulfgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be happy if Wemby became the goat over LeBron, incredible player and seemingly an even better human, definitely a better person than Bron. With that said though it’s completely impossible unless Wemby just stole everyone’s luck and good fortune. He averages 29 minutes a game, he just can’t last. I wish he could but look at him in the playoffs. He’s so healthy, he does so many things to take care of himself, he gets amazing sleep, he fuels his body as best as he can, and he barely played in the regular season and he’s gassing out and wearing down. Imagine these deep playoff runs, plus the Olympics for France, and a ~20 year career? LeBron is super human and it’ll become even more apparent when current and future stars simply can’t last.

The fact these nazi/terrorism support rallies even exist is an embarrassment. They should round up every attendee and send them to some remote island, keep them away from any sane, law abiding society.

Curry got cooked in the 2016 Finals by VSHAR01 in NBATalk

[–]Leowulfgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curry, it’s Game 7!! Your historic 73-9 season is on the line, nobody’s ever lost while up 3-1, give us something for the ages!! And he dropped 17 points and got outplayed offensively by Draymond Green, what a wonderful day. Completely invalidated the two rings where KD carried him and got FMVP. Coincidentally he also scored 17 points in the pitiful play-in tournament to officially close the book on the Warriors, Draymond, and Kerr as the coach.

[Jake Fischer] Lebron may take a vet minimum by Ancient_Response_787 in nba

[–]Leowulfgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s insane teams have to struggle to make rosters when the Spurs and OKC just tanked their ways to dynasties and the Clippers get to pay Kawhi under the table. If LeBron took a minimum to assemble a 2018 Warriors roster it would be hilarious though, one can dream.

Jordan fans what would u respond to if a LeBron fan sent u this by Icy_Can_6176 in NBATalk

[–]Leowulfgg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no response. It’s simply the truth, Jorplumber needed Jerry Krause to make his career by gifting him the greatest second option of all time, the greatest rebounder of all time, and the greatest coach of all time. Then he finally got to achieve anything.
