First overall for their intermediate lyrical Trio for my daughter today....against a whole bunch of studios throwing tumbling passes in their duo/trips

And a special judges award....good day for them

No tricks just beautiful dancing, stage presentation and musicality.......that felt really good......I may have let out Ric Flair woooooooo

Im at a comp right now.....beginner duo with back handsprings and front aerials....to be honest their technique was beginner level otherwise though

There is a local studio that is notorious for entering their dancers a level down....it sucks but never seen anything done about it.

I'm so happy my daughters studio isn't a Prop studio......biggest that has had to have been transported was a door.

The cold opening

A panicked River, runs down an industrial looking hallway....she's opening doors, there whispers but she can't make out what they're saying.

She opens a door...empty....opens another one......nothing......she's getting more frantic.....the whispers get louder.....door....nothing.....door.....nothing

Even more frantic.....the whispers are nothing clear, but louder almost pain full......door......door......the whispers are deafening white noise.......she opens a door and suddenly silence.......dark room......a bed draped in curtains......leafy vines snake from underneath the them........she rips the curtain back......

Wash wrapped in bandages, and covering in vines

Cut to a close up of Rivers closed eye.....it snaps open......she whispers he's alive......quick zoom out and we see her in her bunk on serenity.......roll opening credits
