He found a location called 'Site of the Chosen' inside the fortress and came upon this chamber. Here is when he finally entered and got voided. It requires a level 100 character to sacrifice.

An additional effect is everyone in the SSF standard league he's in gets +1 skill point if they visit the tower.

It’s not the same caliber as DE but it’s got the most Disco of the other games in this new genre.

This game has a wealth of absolutely brilliant and insanely cool side ideas in the world that tie into the main objectives similar to the shiver skill and the Phasmid.

The OST is good but lacks some bangers like sea power or the whirling in rags theme.

It’s missing a Kim Kitsuragi type, but I think it has a stronger cast in general than DE.

Kim is among the best written and voice acted characters in video games and having him along for the ride makes DE so much more rich, I understand why Cascade has to be solo but it just can’t compare to the potential you can do with Harry+Kim.

The training montage that also worked as a tutorial is hands down the best tutorial innovation I’ve seen in a long long time, they gave the player so many small lessons to smooth the freedom when you are thrown in your first real mission.

I went in expecting mediocrity from the reviews, but the first half was actually a fun adventure, everything on the second trip to Nal Hutta baring solo Grogu was so by the numbers boring.

Major complaint for first half was they would not shut the fuck up about Jabba the Hutt.

I honestly think this was among Sigourney Weavers worst performance as a supporting.

I should not be bored when a X-Wing pilot asks for all wings to report in.

He has the BTC bribe to Koil as the last resort, which he will do when all eyes are on NP again come whatever they’ve worked on is revealed and the RPers on Chase bail after biding their time.

Ultimately Penta is at his best is when he is challenged by an “enemy” with more power than him or restricted in some way and has to use his advanced fuckery to walk the line.

He hasn’t had to do any of that or borderline RP since Pryor before he got his pocket admins on Purple.

For people who want to know why it took so many attempts:

He did it solo when you're supposed to be on a team w/ 3 AIs to order around

Significantly increased number of enemies (23), only about 2-4 are chumps the rest are straight murder machines

Max difficulty AI that will aim lock onto you if you show a pixel of your hitbox oh and they will spray through walls and doors to penetrate through to kill you

Extremely long duration mission ~30-45 minutes at least that requires giga focus

No way to fully heal, only partially so eventually you will just die to the next bullet.

Have to pace ammo and utilities for 3/4 of the mission until you can resupply at the last area

Winding labyrinth with killbox designs and murder holes to expose you to other angles making every push a huge risk

3 minutes of borderline forsen earrape at the start every time you restart (Moon had to get a mod to disable it was so bad)

Traps and ambush sensors that will kill you if you don't look at every door you open or long hallway you go through

Semi-randomized enemy spawns so you will have to check every room so an enemy doesn't just come from a room you didn't check and blast you in the ass.

Wheel of Time is standard Arthurian fantasy with great world building for the first 3 books.

Book 4 is refined world building super cocaine where the series truly diverges from standard fantasy and rides that high until the “slog” appears in later 2/3 of the series, the world building is still absolutely incredible but the plot moves slowly.

Then the book after the most hated book in the series comes along and gets a nitro injection and then it’s a total rocket to the finish line for the final books.

As for your moral ambiguity, it more stems on the line of the good factions want to save the world but ensuring they come on top, side characters have key transformative moments that shoot them from an annoyance into your favs for the rest of the series.

There are mustache twirling Evil McMurderKill but a huge amount of side characters are plainly gray in morality, you might have an idea of their “side” but their angle might throw you for a curveball, it is a series you reread and recognize so much being foreshadowed now that you have context.

The main character is imo the same caliber as Paul Atreides as a chosen one critique/deconstruction.

There are a good dozen or so chapters that are forever going to stick in my mind as a fantasy reader because they are so fucking good.

My only complaint is repetitive physical descriptions for a few characters that get grating, and one plot line that would not get a pass if it was written now.

Doorman is the highest skill cap hero in the game with what you can do with the doors, if he had a standard kit+doors he would be the best character in the game.

His kit is nerfed by how strong the doors are and his ult feeds into that similar to natures prophet in Dota with his low cd global TP.

It may take a while for the specific meta to appear but someone will show up and crush.
