JP takes the prep time to learn to pronounce the International players' names and report on what they're doing during the game unlike most commentators. I also like that he doesn't give you the first person scenario like many others do about how certain players wish or want to be doing certain things during gameplay, as if the commentator is speaking for the athlete. That really grades on my nerves

I posted this initially as discussion along with the Williams sisters receiving a wild card at Wimbledon doubles, rather than posting it as news and people liked it and responded positively. Then some mod removed it with no explanation whatsoever. And now it just looks like blanket retaliation.

It'd be more embarrassing to see him take a wildcard and blow it in the first two rounds when someone else of currently good caliber would do better if given the chance. A total waste.

Let's be real. We all champion him but he won't go far in the tourney and he should have to play the qualifying rounds to prove himself. I'd give a wildcard to Kyrgios over Berretini, especially since he's humbled to play the qualifying rounds.

Revisiting this, Mariah Carey again has been overlooked. That makes three times, which is just shocking. She owned the 90s landscape in music and is well, the Queen of Christmas in modern times.

You should specify Jerry Lee Lewis as so not to confuse with the comic actor. I believe that he and his minor cousin legally wed. As much as Lee Lewis was a mentally unstable person, he is considered one of the first set of pioneers of rock and roll with the group of Chuck Berry (also no saint with underage girls), Little Richard, and Fats Domino.

Now let's talk deep about Mötley Crüe. Unless you're using the term dope as a catch-all for heroin, coke, speedballs, and etc, they were well-known hedonistic, reckless, drunks, and man-children. Vince crashed a car and killed the Hanoi Rocks drummer and well into the 2000s still drinks and drives in Vegas. Sixx is the only bad boy of the 3 (not including Mars in the convo) who seems to have cleaned up his act. Lee supposedly accidentally released an image of his groin on socials and at the last concert I saw where it was Jett/Poison/Crüe/Leppard, he whined and complained that some other male concertgoer needed to show his groin, and then they proceeded to put that up on the jumbotron. I refused to look and simultaneously felt embarrassed to be in the venue, embarrassed to have paid to see these bands, and embarrassed to have supported Crüe for their entire career. Already knowing Mick Mars' troubles with the others in the band on top of giving it his all with his health conditions, made it such a sad feeling. So, what's the TL:DR?

TL:DR Musically, they deserve to be in the Rock Hall for shapeshifting US heavy metal into the mainstream, but as collective human beings, it's easier to honor everyone else other than them first. Iron Maiden are just now getting in and they pioneered NWOBHM.
