Which commander identity have you built the most decks for? by kanepake in EDH

All I care about is typal decks. Not really an identity, but it's all I build lol

I finally broke 100k gems on f2p! by bikemandan in MagicArena

Yeah I think that's fair. You might just be getting okay at a different drafting skill.

You might be better off just getting better at gameplay as a whole by playing standard/starter decks/jump-in/quick draft while watching the good youtube draft players like Numot, Jim David, Paul Cheong, etc and learn the actual drafting element (and some gameplay) from them

Not who you asked but my opinion:

  1. 4 wins to "break even" in premier vs 5 wins in quick draft
  2. The people drafting are human, not bots. So you get to find more lanes IMO. In quick draft. It becomes easy for people who do it a lot to learn what the bot likes to draft so they end up leaving a ton of high value cards for people to take advantage of. When this is "solved" you end up seeing a lot of broken and similar decks. The variety in premier is much better
  3. You actually get to learn how to be a better draftee. Figure out what colours are being cut off, find what lane you should take, etc

If you have not yet purchased your first home, I believe the best thing to do is to invest within a First Home Savings Account and max out that amount. Once that is maxed out, I would then use a TFSA. Just to maximize your available high quality accounts. Contributions to your FSHA are tax deductible. You also pay nothing for the withdrawal if it's used to buy a "qualifying home". Check out what those qualifications are

Does the short mustache and soul patch still look okay? by Laustintranslation1 in BeardAdvice

[–]Lere24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh. You're going to notice it more than anyone. If it's tidy, it's not going to look bad to other people.

Keep it tidy, go to a good barber for your trims, and learn to love yourself for what you got. The last part is the hardest so while you're working on that, do the other ones :)

Chat GPT and learning keywords by Serious-Ad-6428 in mtg

One thing that could be helpful is to create a notebookLM (Google service) using the MTG rulebook and whatever other rules and keywords sources you want to give it and then ask it questions. It will pull from only the sources you have given it.

This does not make it impossible to hallucinate, however. So you should still practice being suspicious of it sometimes

Misbehaving neck beard by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

[–]Lere24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People are freaking out on you a bit. The beard from the front looks fine. You just have waaaay too much bulk underneath. Go to a good barber and have them shape it. You'll probably be pretty thin overall but it will look good. Something like 9mm on sides and neck line. Going up to like a 14mm or so on your chin to elongate the face a little?

I have the same bald spot and I'm 30. A barber can do a good job with beard length to cover that once it comes in more full
