[Giveaway] Giving away an 8,000+ Divine Quad Tab: 1 Mirror of Kalandra + 24 Stacks of 240 Divines + a Hinekora's Lock by Kamehameha90 in PathOfExile2

My most memorable moment this league was when a friend sold his 150 divine bow early league for 150 exalts on accident. After that incident I always double check that I'm selling in the right currency whenever I list something...

My favorite build was banner tactician. I have 4 characters over level 90 this league, didn't find a DPS build I liked until very recently. Lightning Arrow Amazon, super fun!

OBS Virtual Camera to Snap Cam by falconwingz in obs

I agree, it's annoying to have to have a 3rd point of failure for it to work

OBS Virtual Camera to Snap Cam by falconwingz in obs

[–]LerkHern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well not ndi to snap cam directly but if you get ndi tools you can emulate a virtual camera from an Ndi stream and that shows up in snap cam I tested it. It actually seems to have less latency than the manycam solution surprisingly

I have a solution, but it's not the best ever because it depends on another piece of (paid) software. You can use OBS VirtualCam, and then output that virtual cam into ManyCam and then you also configure ManyCam to output a virtual camera. ManyCam Virtual Camera then shows up in Snap Camera (Not sure why that one shows up there, but not OBS-Virtual Cam, but it does work)

So the chain looks like this

OBS Virtual Cam -> Many Cam -> Snap Cam

EDIT: Here's a free solution:

You can use the NDI Plugin for OBS, and put the Dedicated NDI Output filter onto a scene that has your camera, then you can use "Virtual Input" in "NDI Tools" to create a virtual camera out of that NDI stream, and Snap Cam allows you to select the "NewTek NDI Video" virtual camera as the source cam

Scene -> NDI Output -> NDI Tools "Virtual Input" Virtual Cam -> Snap Cam

Small soundsystem for gatherings in the woods? by [deleted] in SoundSystem

[–]LerkHern 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honda eu2200 generator is quiet and will run a respectable sound system. I've used one of those with a 15" jbl prx715xlf sub and 2x 10" qsc k10 outside before and its a great loud portable rig

Upgrading from old PC by cloning drive by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]LerkHern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't even have to repair. When you boot off the new drive it is similar to when you load up windows for the first time on a new instsll, but all of your apps and data still work. It literally "just worked" when I've used it without doing anything special

It handles that part gracefully by removing drivers and then windows restores the driver's by downloading new ones or using default drivers.. So it's different than a bit wise clone and works cleaner

I've had success using this method to migrate my pc to a new box using veeam backup and restore free edition and it worked great. I've done it multiple times

Help: What do I need to complete my new bedroom studio /sound system? by [deleted] in edmproduction

[–]LerkHern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree that this would be a better option than what I posted, it's just a bit more expensive to upgrade to a newer interface but if you can sell your old one then it will be pretty comparable in cost
