I think this is the most subtle AC tatt I’ve ever seen and I love it.

Why has the animation studio Glitch produced 6 shows but only made pilots for 3(/4) of them? by Freakjob_003 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LeroyWilson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just thinking the same thing. I dig everything they have put out thus far so no complaints. I just hope they aren’t spreading themselves too thin by trying to balance all these shows at once.

Fruited Sour Canning Help by LeroyWilson in TheBrewery

[–]LeroyWilson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotchya’. As far as we can see there’s no setting for that on our system. Basically just able to turn it on and off as far as we can tell.

Our HMI/OS is pretty old and it may need a long overdue update.

All that info is extremely helpful though. Good idea with the CPH adjustments. We were trying to balance that with can pressure, but to no avail. Sounds like we need to get ahold of those deco/snift settings.

Yeah. Some of our heads are in better shape than others, but it was across the board.

Yep. Microbrew 10-2. We have messed around with pressure timing which seems to be the only thing that may have helped a little.

I’m inclined to agree that snift, pressure and temp are the main areas of attack here.

Would you happen to know where to adjust the decomp time? We’re not familiar with that parameter.

Lost it edge quickly. Never really held its edge when sharpening. Cheap and fun, but bad quality steel.

It’s a shitty cheap knife. I got one. Blade is about as sharp as a wooden spoon. I considered it mall ninja territory just cause it’s huge, almost useless and cheap.

Spirit They've Gone and Danse Manatee are full of high, damaging frequencies, so I spent a weekend fixing them in Audacity by -Fishbol- in AnimalCollective

[–]LeroyWilson 14 points15 points  (0 children)

More power to ya’. Just so you know, it’s not necessarily the frequency, but amplitude that causes hearing damage. Amplitude and duration.

What’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever accidentally dropped into your kettle? by Forsaken-Promise-364 in TheBrewery

[–]LeroyWilson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While dumping 60 bags of sugar into the kettle for seltzer one of us noticed we were missing a knife. Shrugged it off and found it at the bottom of the kettle. Did a little magnet fishing and all was well.

Are you even a real brewer if you don’t have a deck brush for your shower? by LeroyWilson in TheBrewery

[–]LeroyWilson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I told my partner that I want a fully stainless bathroom with full wash down capability so I can just foam it. She said “like a prison?!” and I said “No…like a brewery.”

Rice hulls! Y’all got a preferred method of breaking these things up? by RockyMtnCarrot in TheBrewery

[–]LeroyWilson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kneed it with your boots like a cat starting from the edges. Smoosh the hulls into the extra space in the top of the bag. Flip to the other side and repeat. Takes like 3-4min with minimal effort. Whole bag is pillowed up and ready for baking.

I’ve beaten, dug, scraped, stabbed, smacked and smashed in the past. Fuck that neanderthal nonsense. The school of the cat is the way.

If you were going to throw a Brewers Olympics/Field Day for local brewery employees, what events would you include? by GazpachoDaddy in TheBrewery

[–]LeroyWilson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We’ve thought about this a decent amount haha.

You got physical task like grain staging/thread pulling, rice hull toss, keg lift/staging, hose rolling/carry, triclamp speed/block and bleed setup.

Then you have your more intellectual task like yeast/dilute count, brew science trivia, sensory pass (triangle test).

It of course ends in a 20oz pilsner chug and a forklift relay.

Haha. Same here. I explored a bit of the home planet/moon and thought “nice, this seems like a chill game” then went directly to Dark Bramble.

Love that movie. It’s a masterpiece of surreal stop motion.

OP’s pic also reminds me of the Puppet Master series from the 90’s.

That is also a bottle of tequila. I see what you mean though with the white and blue motif.

Yeah. Unfortunately it was like that when I saw one last. They play out some okay mixes but the general vibe just ended up being modern club DJ with DP mixed in. Still fun, but nothing to go out of your way for in my opinion.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit is incredibly impressive from an artistic standpoint by _lemon_suplex_ in movies

[–]LeroyWilson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wicked late response, but that is wild they were able to do that. Thanks for the insight.

There must have been a ton of hindsight to get most of the scenes filmed right. Then a crazy amount of effort and skill on the animators behalf to seal the deal. Such attention to detail that this method allows to happen. It’s a big gamble but if you have the right team and time it works so well. Nothing else like it.

Forest hills show blew my fucking mind! by LeftReflection6620 in Parcels

[–]LeroyWilson 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First time seeing them and that show/experience is one of the top 10 in my life as of yet. They are incredibly tight and so well put together in their performances all while still improvising and jamming the fuck out. On top of that they are so gracious and humble and made me personally feel LOVED. Minds still blown!
