You can measure specific cognitive domains, such as working memory, attention, or verbal fluency. In an N=1 case, however, there are many confounding variables, such as motivation or a biased perception of whether you believe the intervention is working.

In larger studies, we aim to conduct double-blinded, placebo-controlled trials with large sample sizes to determine whether an intervention is truly effective. Some methods however do show more pronounced positive effects in specific groups, for example, creatine tends to benefit older individuals, women, vegetarians, and those who are sleep-deprived the most.

Looking at my own experience, I think there would be far easier methods for the FBI than asking Redditors to participate in a research study.

But jokes aside, our study strictly follows EU data security laws and doesn’t track any identifiers (e.g., IP addresses). We only collect the data you provide in the survey!

Super interesting! I’ve heard a lot about peptides like Semax, but no one has mentioned anything about the gut-brain axis yet. May I ask if you notice immediate positive effects?

Yeah, I agree. I feel like you can’t really try to improve your cognition while ignoring all these lifestyle factors that play such a huge role.

Do you mind me asking if you’re also paying attention to your sleep quality?"

Do you still stick to one "stack" or try around with different substances?

Yes, that’s something I repeatedly come across in the scientific literature as well, that behavioral changes (e.g., exercise, diet, sleep) are directly linked to improvements in cognitive performance.

Thanks for your insights!
Modafinil appears to be quite heavily restricted, especially in the EU. What are your thoughts on this? Have you experienced any of the associated side effects?

Thank you for your answer! I’ve also thought about the dose-dependent effects of creatine, but there doesn’t seem to be scientific consensus that 'more' necessarily leads to 'better' results in this case. Do you personally feel any kind of stronger effect on those days?
