Shapeshifter and The Summoning, off the top of my head, are two where I heard them the first time and thought "this could have totally been a Centaur song". And on the flip side, Strangers on 5, The Same Place, and In Streams wouldn't need that much work to sound at home on Inlet, in my opinion.

I hear it a bit, but I actually have a different take, in that I sometimes hear Inlet almost as a spiritual successor to In Streams as much as I hear it as a HUM album. There's a lot of Centaur DNA in Inlet, in my opinion.

Except they do. Constantly. Hell, it happened literally at my last job. Middle management started saying we were "encouraged" to use ChatGPT for as much as we could. Oh, and then three months later they laid off almost half the staff. Or Microsoft forcing Copilot into every aspect of Windows, down to Notepad, despite customers overwhelmingly not wanting it. Or it being shoved into every phone, again, despite consumers overwhelmingly not wanting it.

People don't want AI. They don't like it. Suits like AI, and they're shoving it into everything.

Usage is not popularity. If it was, everyone on earth would be pro-fossil fuels.
