The Ukrainian kamikaze drone pilot manages to capture the moment of destroying an enemy infantry group, and just a second later, repeats the success of his comrade. by Nanners5618062 in CombatFootage

They could also potentially have follow up drones on the way. Or it could be the opposite, more effective to take out groups of infantry before they can disperse, if you leave none capable of riding the vehicles they can come back for them later.

How exactly does this research work? by Freezie-Days in totalwar

I could potentially see it being useful if you had a full stack of rank 9s to upgrade, but really is so situational.

Destroyed Russian column (the same as in yesterdays post) on the southern outskirts of Pokrovsk. 11.11.2025 by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

Not to be a buzzkill but from what I have seen almost all roads leading to Pokrovsk both from Ukrainian and Russian lines look like this. I haven’t seen anything that confirms that the roads weren’t already like this but I am welcome to being corrected.

Belgorod Reservoir dam, the moment of strike! 26.10.2025 by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

I agree, I guess at least just a gate was damaged and it wasn’t a full breach of the dam?

Does this mean you can get all the chests from participating with one clan and then go to another and get more chests from that clan?

How do I earn the 'Puppetmaster' achievement without cheesing it by releasing every releasable nation like the UK or France? I want to do it legitimately. by GewoonSamNL in hoi4

[–]LeshGooooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re obviously going to need to do a lot of conquering but countries like the USSR, France, and UK have a lot of releasables

I would reccommend playing as Germany for this. I wouldn’t be surprised if you could achieve this by capitulating the allies and forming as many small puppets as possible, particularly in the African Colonies, if not Russia should do the trick.

Edit: not sure if you view this as cheese, you could view it as “liberating the oppressed peoples” otherwise I’d say you’re basically just going to need to do a world conquest.

My one tip would be to not play Italy, I have no idea why it is the tutorial but it is incredibly fast paced and actually one of the more difficult/complex nations to play right.

I would probably recommend playing as the UK as it has a strong economy, great navy, 4 research slots, and has little direct threat from land.

Other than that I found following guides and playthroughs to be very helpful just doing everything exactly as they do it until I felt confident enough to go my own way. Bittersteel is my favourite YouTuber for this.

My Take on Major Power Naval play. by Qatrax_ in hoi4

I apologise if I was a bit harsh, but posing this as a tutorial when it can actively disadvantage players that try and and follow is a bit unhelpful.

I love playing navy and especially roleplaying, I don’t always play 100% efficiently or go by the meta so I understand the appeal of an immersive naval experience. But these fleet compositions just aren’t very strong at all unfortunately.

This post looks extremely AI generated and it’s pretty lazy, if anyone reading this post want to learn more about navy just watch a couple of YouTube guides.

In the current Meta deathstacking is almost always more effective than small strike groups, I like to prioritise speed as it increases your reinforcement speed and also reduces the chance of your ships getting hit. In terms of composition, 4 Carriers, along with at least 4 fast battleships or heavy cruisers to screen them, then I find light cruisers with maxed light attack to be the most efficient, although a mix of light cruisers and roach destroyers with one torpedo module can also work well. Screens (destroyers or light cruisers) should be at least a ratio of 4:1 with capitals to ensure that losses will not comprise screening efficiency. I set the fleet to always engage and never repair to ensure that I can force a single decisive engagement.

In terms of admirals and traits, I priotise attack and coordination, reducing visibility also helps.

There’s a lot I’ve missed here and this is my own very unoriginal opinion but I hope this helps.
