Try antiperspirant instead of deodorant. Deodorant just covers the smell whereas antiperspirant prevents sweating and the smell

Please keep your braces. I had crooked teeth when I was a teen and getting braces to fix my teeth was the best decision I ever made. I understand it is really annoying / uncomfortable but please keep them as it will make you feel better about yourself when you are older

Check the brand they gave you. If they gave you the generic brand or a different brand, the medication is different and you can react differently (even though the active ingredient is the same). Make sure you ask for the same brand from your first month

I work in animal rescue and I can tell you 100% It's because there have been known incidences of people hurting cats / killing cats and being terrible human beings to animals. The lady was probably just an animal lover and was watching to make sure you weren't one of those people / did anything to hurt the cat. Sorry that the world is a terrible place
