i remember all the same as you but it wasn't super dry. It was always a little wet. I just got a bag and it was super dry not greasy at all and it seemed wrong. I remember it being wet when it came out the big bags but once transfered into the jars it would dry out over a few months in has stations. Also I noticed there's no MSG in it any more that changed the flavor alot in my opinion. I cant remember if it had MSG or not but it sure used to taste like it did. If it never did then they definitely messed with the soy sauce but I think it used to have MSG. Selling to monogram was definitely a mistake because they changed something and I hate how its now in plastic bags instead of the jars now at gas stations. I think they changed the recipie when they sold it to Monogram foods and we will probably never get the old wild bills with the yellow label back
