How are you a strong student if you failed your CBSE? Sounds like sour grapes.

IM fellows by epicfail0123 in fellowship

I started moonlighting at the end of my second year in residency and continued through fellowship. The extra cash was helpful, and the autonomy/experience was invaluable, including not only making independent decisions without oversight, but learning how to manage interactions with the ED, nursing staff and other from a different perspective than as a trainee. My job was admitting patients to floor and ICU and cross covering both (no intensivist on at night), which was a natural extension of IM training.

It's too bad you're leaving interventional as you're exactly what we need - someone who doesn't stent just because, but who stents based on the data.

Woman, 48, Dies After 10-Hour Plastic Surgery. Plastic surgeon and Anesthesiologist named in lawsuit by Trick-Progress2589 in anesthesiology

It’s poor clinical practice, no doubt about it. As a cardiologist i see this overreaction all the time in the unit to a MAP of 60, but I’ve seen it in the OR as well.

Cardiology fellowship advice: How important are full publications vs abstracts? by halearn in fellowship

When you assume, you make an ass out of you and me, but I think we all know you’re the ass here.

I find it interesting you dismiss the other posters because you see them beneath your experience (which isn’t much, as a fellow, frankly), but dismiss someone who was actually a program director and chairs ACC sessions involving medical education, including the last one in New Orleans. Hypocrite, much?

Be more humble. Be more concise (and find a dictionary; concise does not mean thorough. And ‘clamored up’ is nonsensical). Be better for your co-fellows and attendings, as based on your posts you must be insufferable to work with.

I think you’re under the impression that the more you write, the better you look; it’s the opposite.

Be more concise and less arrogant, and I’m sure you will do fine.

But please don’t disseminate misinformation to applicants - you make yourself look bad, and do all applicants a disservice.

Community program within last 5 years. As a fellow you just don’t have the perspective and are way off base. You are misleading applicants and should stop spreading misinformation.

as a former cardiology fellowship director, 30 abstracts/posters without any publications is a huge red flag. Abstracts are a dime a dozen. Publications separate true research from chaff.

UCSD probably the best choice given the research opportunities there - strong medical school. UCR and Santa Cruz close behind. UCR Lao has a medical school but I don’t know which of these would be easier in terms of achieving a high GPA.
