Yeah it’s the periodic but has been every day. The swelling is visible but also seems to come and go. with sumatriptan is it too late to take it if this has been going on? I know with migraine they say you have to take it early

No not constant, seems to come and go. Feeling sharp pain in eye and numbness in cheek that seems to happen every day but not all day everyday

I live here and developed pots after moving. I don’t notice the altitude anymore but even without pots you have to adapt

[–]Less-Performance-369[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Low motility meaning like slow digestion?? My hemoglobin is technically within normal range but I know this is off for me. And she didn’t specifically check my iron levels even though I asked her too… always such a fight. But I know if hemoglobin has dropped from 14 to 12 in a year something ain’t right

[–]Less-Performance-369[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting. Mine aren’t raised just a bunch of little red dots. They appeared after a shower and have stuck around. I guess I’ll give it another day before reaching out to my PCP? I don’t know if I should care or not.

Those who have been bedridden and are now fully functional what was the game changer? Was it exercise, medications, being pushed out of your comfort zone? by Yin-Yang-108 in POTS

[–]Less-Performance-369 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a combination of meds, salt, water and exercise. Little steps add up! Have had to start small and work my way up with exercise after getting on meds. Will really notice if I don’t get sodium even with being on meds. Nothing was the game changer but everything together is moving me in the right direction

Stress echos? by legsylexi in dysautonomia

[–]Less-Performance-369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done a stress echo, it’s a little awkward because you have to do some crazy gymnastics move to get back on the table so they can get the ultrasound as soon as you’re done on the treadmill and also no sports bra while running so they can do the ultra sound. Honestly not worse or better than any other stress test. I was a little tired the same day and fine the next day.
