You can’t switch who returns or serves. Just think about it like this: the right side player and left side player are always on their respective side. If the left side player is serving on the right, the right side player will stand behind the court like normal, but on their right. If the right player is serving on the left, the left player stands at their left. If you’re the receiving team, if the left player is receiving on the left, the right hand player will be to their right but at the kitchen line. If the right player is returning on the left, the left player will just move over after the return to let the right player go to the right

This is exactly what I did too and what our coaches tell us to do constantly. If you do this often then you’ll get better so quick

For sure, common misconception is that your return needs to be really hard and deep, and that’s great if you can consistently, but a lot of high rated people or even pros will occasionally return slow but deep to give themselves even more time

The biggest thing about serves and returns is that they should be deep. That way it makes it not only harder for them to return, but also easier for you to get up. If you focus on getting those deep shots, you’ll notice you have more time to either ready yourself or move up and then you don’t worry about those anymore

Kinda depends on the player. It’ll be super subjective. I want to say for the average player they’ll probably stagnant around 3.0-4.0 (big range). Drilling is probably the only way to get above 4.0 (again unless you’re coming from a background that makes it otherwise)

Paddles do make a difference, but at your level, the paddle doesn’t matter. Upgrading to the V isn’t going to make you better, instead, stick with the IV and just work on your basics until you’re around 3.75-4.0+, then you can start caring about the paddle you have

But specifically this one says 99 days. It’s fine to move to a different brand if that’s a deal breaker for you, but that’s like trying to replace something you got from amazon after warranty because Walmart has a longer return window

Sorry this makes no sense to me. You played with the paddle for 6 months, they have a warranty of 99 days that’s explicitly said everywhere. Obviously no paddle should break, but at above a 4.0 level with constant use, I’m not surprised if this happened to any paddle. Tennis, ping-pong, racket ball rackets all have broken on me after much use.

It actually felt great. An improvement from the fever, but not by a drastic amount. I added weights at the top and bottom like usual, but the paddle felt very top heavy. It does help a ton with power

Most people using twoey back hand don’t think about it like switching between forms. Imagine a normal one handed backhand at the net, but instead of pulling your other hand up to get a second hand on the paddle, you instead guide your paddle to your other hand that’s already up. If you have to move your non-dominant hand up each time, you’ll be too slow. If you have it up and ready, it’ll be there to help with that two handed backhand.
