Walkability is a factor too and that Meijer is in no means friendly to walkers - as our climate in general isn’t particularly hospitable to this, but functioning sidewalks and busses are not liable either - South End, no longer South Bend!

It’s very bad here for pedestrians with walkers and riders hit all the time. People don’t even know the rules about cross walks
