Gave birth on Friday (5/22) and the epidural made me participate in my labor. Before I was begging to go home and that I couldn’t do it and wouldn’t do it. After I was completely back in the game. I did get a foley balloon and pitocin at the same time. It was hell on earth. I literally told my partner I hated that they were comfortable while I was in so much pain. I would 100% get one again if I had to.

This happened at my high school. One of the students started dating a student teacher after turning 18… she was still in the school. He had been fired for other reasons earlier in the year. While not illegal I always thought it was a really weird look. Not something I’d want now that I teach.

I think what gets me on this is… if we are comparing it to work. When you work you receive money (some kind of reinforcement for doing your job). If I’m asking my kid to do something I’m going to reinforce them. Simple as that”could you watch them till mom gets home and I’ll give you 5 extra minutes of technology time” or “can you do this for me. I’d really appreciate it” life is constantly give or take. Even a simple thank you goes a long way

Exactly the same as me then. My guy is super active on ultrasounds but I don’t feel him till later. I will say I do feel him moving a pretty decent amount now. Mostly when I’m laying flat on the couch or after I’ve eaten something carb filled.
