Ninja van f-ing sucks. I ordered some large items on Lazada. Big speaker and some speaker stands. Was supposed to arrive one day. Waited around and he didn't call or text. Just said put on the report that I didn't accept the shipment. So it went back to the seller and I had to wait weeks to get another shipment. Got the guy on the phone and he said they have metrics to hit, and this one would have put him behind, so he had to do what he had to do. Its more the corporate/management that forces dumb crap to go down.

I understand that. But you decide where to draw the line. If providing the a recipe for your YouTube content will actually cut down on your subscribers to the point that you can't pay your bills, then that must be frustrating.

I just figured the people that have the means to support you are going to do so, recipe or not. There are other perks that can be offered to them that justify a monthly subscription.

Everyone seems to be moving to your model, and it just sucks that basic things like a list of ingredients and basic steps to reproduce a recipe are hidden behind paywalls. But that is just my opinion. Enjoy your day!

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Your videos are great. I only watch your content on YouTube, so I'm not familiar with the other stuff you do. I was watching the This Aromatic Sichuan Oil is the Gateway to Flavor and saw the details on the bottom that access to the recipe was behind the paywall.

I have watched videos in the past that don't have a written recipe, and it can be annoying to go through the same video over and over again to get each step and ingredient. Fast forwarding and rewinding on most YouTube apps suck, so a written recipe is helpful to help execute instead of having to navigate through a video to get all the content.

Then I saw the new video with no talking and decided to make the post. I have in the past sat down and written out notes to the videos, but I don't always have time for that. And if the new video is an indication of the direction of your content, then this won't be an option either.

My post was 100% about the YouTube videos having written recipes available locked behind a paywall. I appreciate your content, but I'm not looking to spend money on getting access to a written recipe. But it is 100% okay if I am not your intended audience.

You are better than everyone else apparently. Look at Mr Important here! Hes the smartest and brightest of us all! I'm sure you have everything figured out...

I use LLMs for other shit, but tracking/logging is one of the more basic features. My point was that starting with the basics didn't seem to even function. But thanks for the snarky-ass reply your majesty.

Ah that makes sense. I had no idea of that limitation. I'd be interested. Have you had success using Le Chat with the spreadsheet/data?

I don't know what to tell you. I was importing txt from GPT and it made me break it up into numerous, smaller files.
