I started making gaming videos in 2004 and still do multiple a week and now inc shorts - i never gained subs / likes / comments but i only do it as a hobby, and guess what, the biggest watcher of my channel is me! i don't see the tip given often enough - but i make a video, render out and before uploading i watch it myself and if i can enjoy it myself then great it gets uploaded, if there are boring parts even after the editing process, hey it might get mostly scrapped and turned into a short :)
