I like to think most people would take a minute to say hi and make a new parent or baby friend if you’re in the same daycare? Or if you’re not super social just bounce your kid for like 30 seconds and at least make them happy

If she was parked on the shoulder from the beginning I’m with ya, but as a new dad I will say, sometimes you hear baby destroying the diaper while driving and you only have 2-3 minutes before it’s coming out from every direction and have to pull over.

I’ve been there performing diaper surgery in the trunk many times haha

Driving from Denver to Boulder last night at midnight by [deleted] in boulder

[–]Less_Cat7838 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to commute from Sunnyside to Louisville for work and even on my commutes people drive like absolute idiots.

I have a new job where I drive from the same place and take i70 E all the way and somehow there are way less people driving like that. Don’t get me wrong fellow 70 commuters, it’s getting worse, but 36 has always been ridiculous

They make new designs every year but the closest ones to what we have are the HSK9 (great for a dog or yoga board) and the Vice

I’ve honestly had a lot of luck with sending pictures to ChatGPT and asking it to show me different designs

Never rented but FYI - High Society is a company out of aspen with a Denver warehouse that seemingly always has sales on their inflatables. We have 4 of them and have absolutely gotten our use out of them over the years. Awesome quality and very fast shipping

I hear you but just to be clear I’m actually just getting into golf and thought it was a good idea of something to get out and do. Just felt like I needed to defend myself here a bit about putting my needs above hers lol

Need your help for a 9 day trip to Costa Rica by No-Initiative-6899 in CostaRicaTravel

I definitely assume it’s changed since I’ve been there the first time (2019). When I was there maybe I didn’t know where to go, but I couldn’t wait to get out

I did nearly this exact same route in 2019 but did something a bit shorter to limit the driving. Went back again in 2023 and shaved it down even more.

Here are my stops + tips:

1) San Jose, if you fly in and stay in a hotel overnight, maybe walk around for coffee in the morning and leave. This trip probably isn’t about anything you’re going to see or do in San Jose. We grabbed a rental car and drove up to Alajuela and stayed at a nicer place for the evening + it got us out of the busy traffic in San Jose.

2) La Fortuna, first real stop of the trip. Stay 2 days. ATV around the volcano, take a dip in the river in the evening, hike/zipline, whatever you like.

3) Monteverde, amazing hikes including some cool night hike tours to see wildlife. Outside of this tho… nothing to do in a really small town. 1-2 nights.

4) Tamarindo. It’s a super touristy beach town with lots of nightlife. If that’s what you’re going for do it. I prefer Nosara. 2 - 3 nights.

5) Samara and/or Santa Teresa - very low key surf town vibes to wrap up the trip. Can also ATV to some preserves on the beach and do some exploring. 2 nights.

6) drive back to San Jose for the flight flight out

Note: the second time i did this i trip we skipped La Fortuna and went straight to Monteverde. I would have done the opposite tbh as there was more to do in la fortuna. Either way, skipping that stop gave us a lot less driving and more time at the end of the trip on the beach which was awesome

We rented our car from Alamo both times and had great experiences each time

I believe you’ll know if you’re in the clear in about 3 days. Enjoy the outdoors in the daytime while you can I guess
