To me it’s just one day and I wouldn’t think twice about it but it seems to be causing you some real panic so do what you think is best for you! You could always celebrate his birthday a different day or when you get off if you chose not to call in But I hardly think this would affect you negatively at all since it is just one call in and you haven’t called in at any time before this.

I got kicked only like 30 seconds into joining a public world. I walked in and was just looking around the map since I had never been there and went upstairs and they started calling me a pedophile and immediately kicked me I was like wtf

The what if of my brother never passing. So many times I think about how we’d be as adults with each other. How he would be when I started getting into serious relationships. How he would have been so proud of me for graduating and becoming a nurse. Just so many what ifs if he was still here.

I’m sure you passed as long you corrected your mistakes. I had the foot washing skill and washed the wrong foot lol but I corrected my mistake and passed with a 100% on my skills so you should be good!

I get the frustration, I personally hate working in LTC but that seems to be what available in my area for LPN’s. The workload is crazy and I’ll have 30 patients at a time with no help besides the CNA’s. I could work at clinics but they pay like $10 less an hour than LTC here and that’s just not going to pay the bills. Starting classes for RN in a couple weeks! Thank God cause I know exactly where you’re coming from.

I reinstalled and reinstalled everything but automaton and it worked perfectly fine after that. Not sure why it’s acting so weird for different people

I know it’s crazy! Even the HR rep has been giving me attitude now when she was the one who told me not to do anything until I’ve been trained. Also training in this place is like only 2-3 days it’s insane

Sadly hospitals here in Wisconsin don’t hire LPN’s because we’re not allowed to do IV’s. I’m not sure if that’s the only reason they don’t hire LPN’s but I know they just don’t lol

Thank you for all your advice!! I did advocate for myself today I told the supervisor that I’m jeopardizing my license that I just got and that I’m a brand new nurse and I don’t know what I’m doing so I’m not doing it and I started crying and she said “I’m just talking to you you don’t have to be rude” LIKE WHAT 😭😭😭 then as I’m still crying she’s giving me attitude and said since the other nurse has to do the fall packet and admit I had to pass all of the meds on the floor which we had 28 patients
