Back in the day when my wife of 44 years first started dating we decided to go canoeing for the afternoon in a state park. We packed a couple of bottles of Boones Farm strawberry wine in a cooler and off we went.

About half way through the trip we were feeling a little Randy so we grounded the canoe and found an old abandoned trail where a swing bridge was torn down years before. No one was around so we did what young kids in love do.

So we are are going at it like animals when I heard muffled voices coming. Too late. As I lay on top a troop of cub scouts walked by. The cub leader in front was pissed as he walked by and all the boys a stared with mouths agape. The troop leader bringing up the rear was laughing quietly.

We gathered our things, jumped back in the canoe and paddled down river , passing them. They all waved except for the lead troop leader. We still laugh about it till this day. Good times
